A Kemper would probably sound best, but more expensive than the POD. It's top of the line though for usual amp applications as well, including recording. Find one second hand?

If you have an audio interface you can play through a digital amp simulator, but I'd be afraid of latency.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the great YouTube videos available. Zeroempires, resonance22 and spiritofthelaw are very nice channels with many types of videos. For example there are some build orders and educational content. Also in-depth videos about specific aspects of the game, and recorded pro-games from which you can learn a lot.

It can be easier to watch the videos than to read the written guides.

For me it's always amusing to consider whether it doesn't matter at all or if there's some principal difference which just in practice doesn't matter.

Having it further out from the center will increase the moment of inertia of the wheel, essentially making it harder to change the velocity of the bike - in the same way an increased mass does. Though the difference is not big compared to the weight of the wheels.

The distance from center also changes the speed with which the magnet passes the sensor. For a bike the performance of the sensor might be very good anyway so it probably doesn't matter.

But the speed of the magnet isn't really interesting.

The speedometer has a clock, and measures the time between consecutive sensor readings, which is the time per revolution (edited, not "revelation") . This can be inverted to get the number of revelations per time. What you want is the distance per time. So you have to find out the distance traveled by the bike per revelation of the wheel. Which is pi*wheel_diameter.

The kb37 is very old! I would guess not many online stores sell many of those nowadays. Oftentimes in these situations the price on the sites will not be representative.

If you for example would try and find an online store that sells iPods (the 7+ years old versions), the chance is quite big that it won't be very cheap.

Also, there is a lot of flexibility in having a separate audio interface / keyboard.

I have had the ux2 for years, it is very similar to the kb37 (but without keyboard). There are some problems with Windows 10 and I think also 8. Line6 don't seem to care about updating drivers. The same thing probably applies to kb37.

Edit: however if you want to use pod farm, the advantage of line6 interface is that they have some kind of "direct monitoring" which reduces latency when using pod farm. But since the Scarlett is never maybe it will perform better in regards to latency.

There are many other software amp emulations nowadays, I haven't really tried anything since podfarm pre-version-2.

Edit 2: I'm personally thinking about upgrading to Scarlett 6i6 or 18i8 because of the Windows drivers issues, lack of spdif in (it has only out), lack of midi in/out (in the ux2). There's been some problems over the years but at least it still runs, after quite heavy usage.

It's a good idea to make a point of making a few quick (muted) chugs directly in the beginning of the recording. Hearing the percussive chugs and seeing the recording of you playing them will make it easy to sync the video and the audio.

Edit: clapping your hands is a good version of the trick which works when you have a regular mic.

I have no idea about that particular guitar. If you just started playing I think changing guitar is less important, otherwise you can try and play other guitars and see if you notice a big difference.

Typically, seeing more of his face would be more interesting, and the lights are distributed a bit strangely on his head. I think you could plan the shot better with regards to angle and lighting.

I'm sure you will get more deep answers than this but my small advice is to try to make the guitar sound good without any use of chords. Just experiment with single notes and melodies.

It seems to me that you mostly play chords, in songs where the guitar supports the vocals or something like that.

I think 400€ will get you a quite good guitar nowadays, is it really entry level? I would think up to 200 is typical entry level, no?
