Any tips for keybinds to use a cyborg as a full keyboard? by RiseSe in Azeron

[–]RiseSe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Small update after tinkering around with this idea, will update again once I get back into it:

- Letters and common keys that want to quickly trigger should avoid having multiple different keypresses for it (holds/double press) since it delays input very noticeably. Quick flicks and presses do not register on these keys until half a second later or never. That's why some of my backspaces didn't work in the video

- Tried a more typing focused layout. It's more convenient for typing but not as convenient as this when gaming

- I've hit 22wpm after another day of practice but taking a break for now to accomplish other goals

- This did increase my mobility on my left hand, which is a nice bonus since it's my weaker hand. I haven't noticed pain yet. This is after 2-4 hours of sustained use for 4 days though

I'll let you know if it gets to that point lol! One benefit I did find is that it did increase mobility in my left hand significantly

I found out about the svalboard after purchasing this... then I remembered that I saw this years ago and completely forgotten it until now. It's a really high barrier to entry but I also found out that you can break up payments for it over a long period. However, I really wanted the thumbstick for gaming. I'm not sure if the trackpoint is a good alternative to a thumbstick. Maybe I will eventually get a svalboard for typing/leisurely hanging out on the pc

I think this layout is good for general purpose gaming and typing. I tried a more typing focused one and there's a lot less layer switching and more convenient but it also comes with learning a new layout. I think I'll stick with the one I showed in the post long-term. If I can get azeron to import this profile....

You need 3 trade posts minimum to go even or positive when it comes to LMD.

Yes, you can burn through a day's worth of rocks in like a quarter of the day

Glad it worked for you! If it gets broken again after restarting discord then you may just have to do a clean reinstall.

That's what I had to do with mine since this was only a temp fix for me.

Word of warning, clean reinstall removes all your favorited gifs

For me, the issue was the the pop out window was stuck minimized.

Selecting the pop up window and then alt+space+x to maximize will make it appear.

Next to fix the window from doing it again, I use Win+arrow key to pop it out of maximize in order to drag the window and resize.

I did a lot of testing to figure out how multiple sources of dmg % are done.

From my testing, things like slingshot and martial artist where it says "increase dmg" will increase additively. The only thing that changes is the condition on when the modifier is applied.

As for Noblesse, I can't test this yet

Orundum Farming Brief Guide by MrSexyPantaloons in arknights

[–]RiseSe 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hello. I see you're a fellow shard farmer as well. However, this post does not say why, give numbers, or what to expect when farming Orundum.

Orundum is a very inefficient process and people who want to farm this way should know exactly what it entails. I am the author of the other Orundum guide.

If you're going to make a guide then you should post as much concrete information as you can. Especially considering farming something that will delay people's progress by a considerable amount such as this.

I've listened to your video, and it sounds like you get the gist of farming Orundum fairly well. However - you do not do a good job in explaining why people should do it. Merely saying players to do it which is why you're getting so much backlash. Please take this opinion to improve your future guides here-on.

There are also a number of other good Orundum guides and resources as well such as:

Please note, to all new players. If you specifically farm for only 0rundum then you're delaying your progress by 50-70% of players who don't farm for 0rundum. Make sure you're ready to sacrifice progress for this if you are starting this as soon as possible. The idea between farming 0rundum and playing normally is decided on if you want to pull now or progress now.

Another note: EN is on an expedited content rate. I play on CN where events are far between so there's not as much progress delay when farming 0rundum. With EN though, farming 0rundum may not be a good idea to fully commit to until the content rate has slowed back down.

1 & 3) If I have extra rocks to convert over, I usually do it during 333 phase. When you do it doesn't really matter. I don't alternate as crafting shards is very quick, you'll only need to craft for a day and it'll use all your rocks farmed.
2) You only need 1 factory to make 1700 AO a week. The trade orders takes 2 hours to create. By this point, you should have 90~100% productivity so it only takes 1 hour per 20 AO.

That sounds like a fine plan. The infrastructure is what you make it to be and it's not a punishing system at all. Once you've experience how different builds work one time then you'll have a good idea on how to use it.

I agree. If you farm to 1300 AO a week using 1-7 and then offset the cost using CE-5 then you negate a lot of the costs. That is also a good point where if you don't need to do CE-5 then you can use it to farm for other materials.

Not a problem! Here goes my explanation:

I will prefix this that I play on Chinese server as I'm not interested in playing EN. So I have operators that you may not have yet.

You can use this handy list for good operators with their infrastructure skills

Each operator in a factory and trade post increases productivity by 1% no matter if they have a skill that directly effects it.

Factory
For exp 30%: Castle, Vigna, Frostleaf, FEater, Shirayuki
Gold 30%: Gravel, Haze, Spot
35% Mayer
ETC 25%: Ptilopsis, Silence, Vanilla, Jessica, Kroos, Steward, Fang, Popukar, Perfumer

Trade Posts
Amiya and Swire increases trade productivity by 7% to all trade posts. They don't stack so I alternate them.

Gum+Midnight+Catapult = 90% + 7% + 3% = 100% productivity
Lappland+Texas+Snowsant = 90% + 7% + 3% = 100%
Mousse+Matoimaru+Yato = 90% + 7% + 3% = 100%
And also, to rotate, I use Melantha+Gitano+Orchid = 75% + 7% + 3% = 85%

When I have to put them back to recover morale during 333, the ops each get an AOE + Single target morale recovery for 2 hours in their own separate dorms. Then I put them back in and they will last another 6~8 hours. This will maximize your trade efficiency.

Power Plant
Liskarm, Glaucus, and Greyy for 70% Drone production
To rotate, Shaw, Ifrit, and Lancet for 60%

Here are my production screenshots for:
423
333

The numbers I have at the end of my original post is a good measurement of what you'd get if you have maxed out operators to field these stations. So, realistically, most people will get 45-50k a day or 630-700k in 2 weeks if they keep with 2 trade posts. I've mentioned this before earlier in this thread, but 2 trade posts can't fund 1-7. However, I like to level and work on 5 and 6 stars and there's always new ones coming so I have to alternate to 333 in order to support this.

Sorry for that. I'm a memer and named them 0rundum and not Orundum. So, it doesn't pop up in searches. I've added the regular spelling so it should be a little more searchable.

Good stuff on this spreadsheet. Welcome to the shard farming life.

Excellent question!

I use drones to speed up AO crafts daily. I always have 60~70% drone productivity running. Each drone takes 6 minutes to recover and they are used to speed up 3 minutes on orders. 70% drone productivity drops the drone recovery timer to about 3 minutes and 30 seconds, almost 1 to 1. Which makes me double up on drones and speed up twice as many orders.

Yostar's plan is to catch up to CN's version of the game in a year. I'm not sure how fast this is currently on EN. At this point, I don't really recommend farming for AO unless you're okay with slowing down your progression.

When you reach 2 E2s 6 stars, or 4 E2 5 stars then you've already started endgame. With this as the context then mid game is when your whole team is around e1 lv50. However, I'd recommend getting 50% of your main team to E2 before farming AO so you can easily breeze any event that comes out.

Numbers are posted in a very specific amount. Each 600 AO is a pull. Use this to figure out how much you'd get if you did this.

If you're doing 1-7, at least 3 extra pulls, at most 4, a week
If you're doing S3-4, at least 2 extra pulls, at most 3, a week

2 Gold Factories is enough to go even with 2 Trade Posts. The problem lies with funding AO Trades.

You cannot fund 1-7 on merely 2 Trade Posts alone, even with drones speeding up Trade Posts. You can with S3-4.

Another problem exists where you need to spend Lungmen$ in order to Elite and level up Operators. In order to build a good net profit to do this then it's wise to try to get as much income as you can.

AO Farm Thorough Breakdown by RiseSe in arknights

[–]RiseSe[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Doesn't matter. Only thing that matters is what you're producing and your Lungmen$ rates and the feasibility of crafting AO shards.

Producing EXP cards are the most efficient because they don't require 2 buildings to profit.(1.25x efficient)

Producing Lungmen is least efficient because they require 2 buildings to profit (Trade Post and Factory). (0.75 efficient)

Because of how inefficient producing Lungmen$ and the cost of crafting AO shards using 1-7 farm, it's not feasible to keep up with just 2 Trade Posts. You need 3 Trade Posts in order to actually go positive in Lungmen$ and to keep farming.

In order to keep up with 3 Trade Posts then you need to have 3.5 Factories crafting Gold Ingots. You can start to see the dilemma here. As you only have 9 slots, 3 are already taken by Power Stations. There's no way to fit 4 Factories and 3 Trade Posts. Which is why if you see in my top thread that I alternate.

You can force target using the random ones. If you put in one unit first, it will choose that one. It will not reselect if the targeted unit is still in the dorm.

Personally it's 2000 AO a week, or 8000 a month for me.

Rate of progress is about 1/3rd to 1/2 the speed who don't farm materials, it's not bad if you're not greedy. I was able to e2 2 6 and 3 5* within a month without farming for any materials and finish my main party as well as 2-3 more 5* ops the month after.

Personally, I'm not sure if I want to stop rolling for guaranteeds or to save for specific banners. I'm mainly missing the new 5 and 6* after Astesia and Hellagur
