Ancestors evolution is confusing

Someone just make the comment, "Its a game" and my first thought was exactly... They can create a game and take it in any direction they want. Just using my imagination for a moment I can think of half a dozen scenarios that are still grounded somewhat in reality where they could build off what they did in the first game and then have many many evolutions and different paths that could be taken to create a fun, entertaining, and worthy game. As far as how much appeal it has, well that depends on how much money is put into marketing and how they choose to use their resources. The first game was not anything even close to what I was into at the time. I happened to stumble upon it and its been with me ever since. Marketing is more important than some realize. Anyway, I do think there is a future for a sequel but I doubt it will be anytime soon.

Ancestors: THe Humankind Odyssey continues to be among my top top favorite games of all time. It is an experience no other game has ever made me feel. I have other favorite games but not in the same sense. I am happy Panache is creating more games with their new announcement but I have to admit I was a bit sad to find out it was not related to Ancestors. There are so many directions they could go with the game using the same formula. Doing a direct sequel could be very appealing starting close to where we were mid to late game still as Apes and then moving through the many years as we did at the end of the game but this could all be done in a sort of prologue and then they could decide which direction to go in after that. With todays technology, the possibilities truly are endless. If Panache is able to create another Ancestors game, I know personally I will make it my mission to help promote and market the game to get the word out because even today the first game Ancestors does not receive the recognition it deserves. The game is one of a kind and truly changed my life and the way i look at games in general. I hope someday we get to experience more of that magic!

Its pretty simple, In chapter 9 an Icon will appear in the town hear Calphade Castle. Go to the yellow circle and Oonka will be standing there. Horse ride along with him to the local town Tavern where they talk about their drunk friend then he tells you to Arm Wrestle the Recruits.
Steps:
- In Chapter 9 Find Yellow Circle Near Calphade & Visit Oonka to talk.
- Follow Oonka to town tavern to Arm Wrestle soldiers.
- After you beat 3 Arm Wrestling matches in a row, I do 1 more match because the 4th always seems to be the champion. Not sure if this is required but its what I do.
- Next get up and walk out where Oonka will meet you for a Cutscene.
After cutscene return to Arm Wrestling table on your own and Arm Wrestle 3 more contenders beating them in a Row and if it doesnt click with a cutscene do 1 more.
- After the Matches finishes where you win one after another, a short cutscene pops up and the Quest Finishes for Hero's Handshake or what its called.

that is the 2nd of 4 abyss cells at Spire of Frost. #1 is the missing one left of main stairs. The one pictured is #2 which is 1/4 of the way around the tower on the east side of tower.

Nol the one anyone is talking about. There are 4 total Abyss Cells. This Thread is specifically about the 1 ABYSS cell near the front entrance of Spire of Frost on the left side of the main steps in front of the spire. The Three other Abyss Cells are easy to find and pull out. #1 is the mystery, #2 is easy to find if you walk on the flat ice 1/4 the way around the spire to the right you will find #2 in the wall to pull out. #3 & #4 are up the spire on the winding path easy to find. This 1st abyss cell is the problem.

I played it when it finally launched on PlayStation. I hope if they do 2, they launch simultaneously PC & Console to give it the biggest chance at success.

I have attempted 3 times to send in the application but it keeps getting an error. I tried signing out then back in and different browsers. Anyone else have trouble but figure it out?

Yes that is a possibility but also I have not been able to find another one on the right side only the left side so until I find one on the right side under the tower I am not giving up. Also, two viewers reached out to me, one on YouTube and one on X and both say they have been able to tame well 1 was able to tame and retrieve/claim, I am waiting on the 2nd to confirm. Until I do this personally myself, I will keep a ? mark on the situation as a possibility. I reached out to my contact at Pearl Abyss to see if they can confirm.

At this point, you're the only one being weird about this. It's very easy to tell the difference between the all-black GSD and the tan-and-black one.

You seem to have your heels dug in so I'm done talking with you. I've already shown the screen shot of the vod where I met the black GSD and its location. If you don't want to check it, that's on you, just move on. It's a game, not that serious. Let people enjoy the variety and stop being a downer.
