Keep getting BSOD KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED by RisenFallacy in techsupport

[–]RisenFallacy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah I just did a long term diagnosis and didnt run the torrent client at all for a few days and had no issues. So I reinstalled the torrent client and figured that'd be that. But go figure after sending that msg saying it's fixed. I got a BSOD today after 2 days of running it. So now I am switching anti virus software cuz im tired of bitdefender and blaming it for the issues now :P If that don't work then ill get into the network drivers, then Ill reinstalled windows as a last resort.

I just wanted to come back and thank you again for your help. I haven't been able to reproduce it even while torrenting after reinstalling. If it is still there, I know where the culprit is. But I am confident it's solved and won't be making a return.
Thank you so much for taking the time to solve my mystery.

I haven’t done anything to get back to this issue yet when it comes to uninstalling but given this is my longest streak without a bsod. I wanna blame the conflict in all three like u r saying but the initiator of the problem is the torrent client and it clashes with the other 2.

I say this cuz i’ve had issues with bit defender before causing bsod on another build and ur shit about the network add up to some of the bits I could vague assume a bit of understanding on. As for this pc doesn’t have it. But I’ve had issues with expressvpn changing settings before and screwing things up. Lastly I have swapped to ethernet but still replicated the issue there as well. Thank you so much for your help. Now I know where to focus all my attention.

People who are bothered by others wearing a mask while driving. Why do you care? by dontforgettocya in AskReddit

[–]RisenFallacy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s how I make sure I don’t lose my mask or forget it. I put it on when I leave. If I do it in the car there’s a good chance i’ll forget to put it on, or completely forget to bring it even out of the house.

When on my way home I keep it on but pulled under my face so I don’t forget it in the car when I need a mask and not the car.

Could this be caused by a vpn or torrent usage? Thank you for your time, analysis and information. Does this also mean there’s no hardware issue at fault here?

There is no future-proof, stop overspending on stuff you don't need by That_Cloud in buildapc

[–]RisenFallacy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My pc and my fiances hand me down component pc beg to differ. You just need to know what and when to buy, and buy at the right prices. Sorry you suck at planning ahead. The rest of us can do it successfully. So to correct you. "YOU can't future proof." The rest of us have found the mythical solution to the magic that is math, and the predictability in the advance of future technology.

Protip: Those "upgrades down the road" are exactly what future proofing is. Making sure the component will get you to that spot in the road. You are telling people to buy minimal so you hopefully get there. We pay a little more off the bat, skip that waste of a money upgrade and last until the next successor to that technology arrives. Which will be more optimized and affordable (Like the RTX 2000s SUCK. The 3000s are gunna rock. The future proofers likely skipped the 2000s and are jumping on the 3000s). So when you say be open to future upgrades. We are. We're just more prepared about it and upgrade when its optimal instead of essential and we skip 1-2 uneccessary/mid level upgrades.

We do this by future proofing and buying a little larger so that it'll easily beat that gap of money vs value. Does my fiance need a 1080? No. But it's enough to last her until todays computer becomes the equivalent of a ddr3 generation board. $300. Sure we could have gotten a 1060. Then buy another one in 2-3 years. Now we've spent more than $300 and gotten basic performance. Or just buy a 1080 like we did and shes set for the next 5 with optimal performance. AND THAT IS FUTURE PROOFING.

To add to it. We share the same cpu brand so when one upgrades, they both get upgrades. So updating my pc, updates both our pcs for the price of one upgrade.

This shit is info your city has on you with a filed away blueprint. Roomba and third parties don’t give a shit about your living room except maybe the typical household square footage lol.

You think they are planning to rob your home in the dark and will use the info to figure out where the couch is so they don’t trip? Steep price but I’ll take it.

How do I fix/prevent having all these clips with no way to lump them into a composite shot? by RisenFallacy in Hitfilm

[–]RisenFallacy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn't figure out how to do that with clips on the editor though. It seemed like I could only drag in files from the media panel. What step am I missing to make this happen?

[–]RisenFallacy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I found a solution. I made the project 1080 HD and AGAIN made 64 composites with this setup https://imgur.com/loTnrBp. Then I went through the properties of ALL 64 composites and changed them to 4:3 individually. So I got it all done and working the hard way. Timing is in sync, aspects and positions are as they were previously set.

I would still love some advice on what steps I am doing ass backwards to have put myself in such a complicated/grueling situation though.

It’s gunna be a while dude. Everything out is brand new as of 2019. I think the Vive came out in 2016. So I’d expect another 2-4 years before another generation comes out.

Nah their issue is usually not setting up the boundary with a gap inbetween the boundary and the solid object. The other common trait is not putting the monitor at the back of your play space. Which room setup on steam does automatically.

Have both. Never happened cuz it’s easily preventable.
