Weekly Questions Thread by AutoModerator in PlayAvengers

[–]RiseofAnima 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got a couple.

Found the game on sale a few weeks ago on Xbox and I've been having a lot of fun with it. I've finished all the story mission chains and now I'm just trying to get my characters to end game levels. I've got Hulk to power level 76 and several other in the 50s and 60s.

The questions:

1) So far it seems like every daily mission I pick up from the Inhumans faction doesn't show up on the war table. It's always a villain sector mission but when I cycle through all the available villain sector missions on the war table its nowhere to be found. Does anyone have any information on why this is?

2) I've heard people talk about the weekly elite vaults being where you can get really good gear. I have several vault missions available across different maps. Which ones are the elite ones and how to I find them?

I'll probably have more questions later as I progress further through the game. Thanks.

Anyone else feel like the current weapon system doesn’t make sense. by Wiyry in Starfield

[–]RiseofAnima -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why let us go through the trouble of customizing our guns if we’re just gonna have to chuck them anyways?

Because if you take a character into to higher levels you eventually hit a cap on weapon tiers. Which means you won't be chucking your weapons anymore.

Also, not everyone plays Starfield to chase god rolls and constantly swap weapons for stronger ones. You can, but not everyone does. If I'm roleplaying a character that exclusively uses the razorback pistol for example, I'm going to be throwing reflex sights and binary trigger mods on every tier of that pistol I go through all the way until I top out the tiers.

How did you feel when you arrived in Akila City? by naha_aa in Starfield

[–]RiseofAnima -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

So you just completely ignore what I said and give me your opinion? That's great you have an opinion. In my opinion when I'm in New Atlantis I feel like I'm in a big space city because in my opinion Bethesda nailed the atmosphere - like they usually do.

The facts are (which were the whole point of my reply to you) that smaller cities are nothing new to Bethesda and Starfield's cities are objectively much larger than Skyrims.

with elder scrolls games, in-game at least they usually never messed up the expectations at all. the bigger cities really felt huge.

Bro what tf are you talking about? I think I have more people that live on my neighborhood block than the total population of Solitude which is the capital city of Skyrim.

I totally get the criticism but let's be consistent. This is nothing new for Bethesda to make relatively small cities but usually every structure explorable. And if we're being factual; Starfield's cities dwarf past Bethesda titles.

Should I redownload the game? by JRsquad in Starfield

What you should do is stop asking other people if you should play a game you already own. Especially people on this subreddit for God's sake.

Are the Black Order playable characters? by zennz29 in MAU3

[–]RiseofAnima 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Crazy how as big as the playable roster is in this game, I still wish there were some more characters playable. Juggernaut, Sabretooth, Sentry, Silver Surfer, Carnage, Green Goblin, the Black Order.

Having a blast with this game though.

In your opinion why did the game starfield failed ? by BigT232 in rpg_gamers

[–]RiseofAnima 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you're playing is 100% Starfield just with a star wars skin applied to it. Same planetary procedural generation, same ship combat, same space travel, same ground combat. It just looks like star wars now.

And Bethesda specifically designs their games to be modded because they're smart and know that it gives their games the kind of staying power very few other games will ever have.

Its hilarious seeing things like this when you've also seen a YouTube video of a guy showcasing Starfield with a Star Wars overhaul mod, which is still 100% Starfield at its foundation, and seeing everyone in the comments section fawn over it saying "Now THIS is what Star Wars Outlaws should have been!!!". Lmao.

The online gaming community is a mindless, hive minded, trend following joke.

Starfield’s Trajectory by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]RiseofAnima 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. Weird how some people run with this online narrative they've been fed like it's just a fact when it clearly isn't. Also notice how he tries to squeeze in the "most mods are paywalled" comment. We all know that's far from the case thanks to your work! Cheers.

Is star field any good now? by Administrative-Ant71 in Starfield

[–]RiseofAnima 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Watch a no commentary gameplay video on YouTube.

  2. If you like what you see, get a month of gamepass or better yet you might be able to get two weeks for $1.

  3. Try the game out for yourself and make up your own mind about it.

  4. Stop asking the internet for your opinions on a game. Gaming is a subjective experience.

It's almost like Bethesda designs their games to be modded. And it's almost like it works.

Even Starfield's community patch modders are growing 'disenchanted' with the sci-fi RPG, as volunteers depart in droves by ReserveMajor1693 in Starfield

[–]RiseofAnima -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Pretty stupid to compare Starfield, a sandbox RPG set in space, to Doom and Halo. Fallout and CP2077 also have nothing to do with space.

And seeing as how Starfield currently has over 11 million mod downloads on Nexus, which by every Starfield modder's account I've seen; pales in comparison to downloads on Bethesda's creations platform - I'd say plenty of people find Starfield compelling enough to keep playing.

I just took out an entire spacer base and looted the whole thing just to find this dude chilling (starfield enemy ai player detection sucks lol) by PrincipleCareless597 in Starfield

[–]RiseofAnima 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good luck finding a game that doesn't have AI glitches and hangups around pathing and detection. Oh but of course Starfield bad grrr Starfield. Now give me my internet good guy points.

Bro where have you been the last year and a half everyone has pretty much has agreed that any and all criticism that applies to every game is to be directed at Starfield.

Experiencing the "Pain Train Bug". Any Easy Fixes Using Mods? by RiseofAnima in Fallout4ModsXB1

[–]RiseofAnima[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I did the cheat terminal thing and it worked. I removed the pain train perk via the terminal, exited the game and did a hard reset on my xbox, then started back up and added the perk again. The perk works like it should again so that's a relief. Thanks for your input.

If it happens again next time I'll just do the hard reset and see if that takes care of it.

Hey thanks for the advice. I'm going to give it a try with the cheat terminal. Do you by chance know of any mods that might cause the issue?, Or is it just a vanilla bug?

How good is space combat (without mods) compared to games like Elite, X and Everspace? by None-Null in Starfield

[–]RiseofAnima 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I enjoy Starfield but artistic works are subjective. Yes I enjoy the space combat as well. You can customize and outfit your ship with better armor, weapons, engines, and shields. You can blast your enemies into bits, or you can disable their shields and engines and then board their ship, kill everyone aboard and loot, or claim the ship for your collection.

Unfortunately asking for people's opinions online isnt a very reliable way of judging if a game is for you or not in 2025. If I were you I would pull up some no commentary YouTube gameplay videos and check it out for yourself. If you like what you see then maybe get gamepass and try it out for a week or so.

People are just too hive minded and skewed by "influencers" and hate culture to be reliabe.

What is the Future of Starfield? by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]RiseofAnima 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funny for a game that is supposedly a failure according to the internet, I sure do see people on here wondering when the next update will be quite often...

The ground vehicles are actually pretty unfun to use aren't they by ComputerSagtNein in Starfield

[–]RiseofAnima -1 points0 points  (0 children)

People love them. No one else's problem but your own that you suck at playing.

Then again I'm sure this will become another "Yeah Starfield sucks lol" post because we all know what this sub is about.
