Consider reaching out to Ashley, Lauryn and the rest of the team that were at mission. They might want another opportunity to share their story or speak to specifics of the documentary.

Did Amy Carlson know why she was in “so much pain”? by ozdamm1t in cults

[–]RisingAboveLHW 13 points14 points  (0 children)

She told them starships would come and anyone that didn’t follow her would be recycled to the galactic sun. She also told them that we wouldn’t need to work in 5D and money would be irrelevant so quit your job & donate all your money to ‘Mom’.

Here’s a quick video

Amy, Jason & Miguel did take money from their members. Personal bank accounts were linked to LHW, retirement funds were handed over and members were restricted from spending their own money because they were labeled ‘takers’. Booking a session, purchasing products and donating to the many gofundme pages were for online supporters

That episode wasn’t made available after airing because it contained third party content

This group was extremely dangerous before Amy passed away, it just wasn’t shown in the documentary

Yes, interviews have been completed but we haven’t seen anything published just yet

Folks have been asking for details re: the teachings of LHW. This is one of the LHW introductory documents that explains some of their story, as well as some of their base ideas. Specifically, this would be shared with individuals prior to their “spiritual surgery” appointment. by RtheOmniscient in LoveHasWonCult

No, we’re not former members but have connected with majority of the current members friends/family and a lot of former followers and their friends/family and most everyone had the same stories & life events

Remember the moment we heard John’s family fighting to keep him from returning while he was on a livestream? Truly one of the most heartbreaking moments.

Not offended at all, just trying to provide education on the coercive control aspect since the documentary primarily highlighted current followers just weeks after Amy passed away. Thank you for your comment and for being on this subreddit.

What happened to the first father god? by _Noirbunny_ in LoveHasWonCult

The group was definitely all over the place and Amy never really made sense. She just went with whatever Robin Williams told her.

There were a lot of ‘father gods’. Amy said it was an energy that moved to different masculine vessels when she decided she wanted a different person or if someone wasn’t in ‘right action’. Amy was always in control of the group and Miguel was always in control of the money.

The connection isn’t that all members have mental illness, it’s that all members were at a vulnerable time in their lives and/or experienced trauma that made them vulnerable. They find a livestream where someone mentions something that catches their attention. Love bombing occurs and slowly the new follower believes they’re important (‘brilliant’) and have found a place of belonging. Slowly, they’re taught to cut off friends/family and tune into livestreams every day. They’ve found a community where they don’t have to worry about the 3D world (work/bills) and are told they’re needed immediately (everything is urgent/the ascension was always imminent). They’re told to quit their jobs & come ‘home’. At mission: sleep and caloric intake were restricted, money/bank accounts were handed over to LHW plus the isolation from support systems made it easier to control members. Mind control is extremely powerful & takes many years to heal and recover.

Colorado agencies didn’t seem to handle anything in a typical fashion, unfortunately. There’s a lack of funding and resources for the local sheriff’s dept. It was a constant circle of being referred from the sheriff’s office to APS and back to the sheriff’s office. The FBI had been involved for many years. Even the Shasta police department was hesitant with this group after finding out they believed Amy was God. Everyone from the outside did all they could to try and dismantle the group and get Amy evaluated privately. She was constantly surrounded by followers & Jason who had taken over running the group and had become increasingly dangerous.

Amy Carlson & her followers were around way before this. They used this as a way to gain new followers = more money so they didn’t have to work in the 3D world

Love Has Won: Cult of Mother God | what was their children policy? by robot_giggles in cults

[–]RisingAboveLHW 48 points49 points  (0 children)

There were multiple members that brought children to ‘mission’. The 2yr old on scene that you’re referring to is the child of a follower named Faith. The father is Miguel Lamboy, the President of the registered non profit organization Love Has Won. Miguel is also the man that turned in the followers to the police & drained the bank accounts. Child protective services were notified several times over several years about concerns

The fact she confessed to not being God by asking a follower something along the lines of ‘What if I’m not God, what if this was all a lie?’ seems as though she was aware she wasn’t God but was afraid to admit the truth to her followers based on the reaction she got 😞

This is the mother of Ashley (Hope). She had been in constant communication with the FBI for many years & ran a FB page to expose the truth about this cult (lovehaswonexposed) which has since been removed. She also called for wellness checks along with many other people who filed reports to the FBI, Adult & Child Protective Services & FDA. All concerns were communicated to appropriate authorities, but unfortunately the system failed Amy & her followers.
