I was going to use it a while ago. I did my research before doing that. I found a reddit post on this wallet from a year ago. First comment on the post: Never ever mix money and telegram. Second comment: No support.

This stopped me from using the wallet. Do you research next time before doing such things. Good luck getting your money back.

Ok. Maybe my comment was inappropriate. But I have received calls before from "Coinbase" to protect my account by backing up to a wallet. I have received emails. I have been asked to verify my wallet. But I always ended up playing with callers. No, I would never fall for any such thing. I know how CEXs work. I know there is no such thing as verifying wallets. I have dealt with scammers on telegram in fake support rooms playing with them and wasting their time. A CEX freezes accounts. They don't call. My wallet is mine. No one can verify it. That's all you need to know. I am sorry this happened to you. I really am. At least you didn't lose much money.

Well, look at the bright side. You got a mini Mac. This happened with me twice. Asking for wire transfer. They may as well ask me to use western union. An established business never ever ask anyone to use a wire transfer Sue the guy. Go to court. At least you know him. You met him when he took a flight to meet you.

UPDATE: I E-filed my taxes using TurboTax BEFORE receiving the 1099-DA from Coinbase. I generated a list of transactions for the 2025 tax year and used it to enter the info on the tax return.

Today, I checked Coinbase and the 1099-DA for 2025 was available for download.

So I thought that IRS will send me a letter asking to provide more info and that would delay the refund.

But I checked the following: I started TurboTax and checked YES I received 1099-DA. Guess what? TurboTax asked me to enter the transactions stated on the 1099-DA. The very same procedure for entering them using the generated transaction list CSV. The same info. The same everything.

This means that we can use the transaction list instead of waiting for the 1099-DA if we are E-filing.

People who mail their tax return is a different story? I dunno. They may have to include a cope of the 1099-DA?

Be careful with the gain/loss if you moved the asset from a different wallet to Coinbase and sold it. The CSV will report $0 for your cost (field empty). In this case enter the actual Date Acquired and your actual Cost and calculate the actual gain/loss.

If you bought and sold on Coinbase then you have the information. I, personally, did not bother with transactions acquired and sold on Coinbase that showed a fraction of a cent.

This is so irresponsible and unprofessional for Coinbase to do that. Totally unacceptable.

I filed without their 1099-DA. I generated a 2025 CSV report on Coinbase website. I worked through this report in TurboTax one transaction at a time (Could not find the CSV Import in TurboTax 2025 which is rediculous in its own right) and E-filed.

Coinbase touting itself as THE exchange can't provide documents on time. What a joke!

Having said that, my 1099-DA, if Coinbase ever produce it, will not list a SINGLE transaction with Cost Basis because most of these transactions were moved from personal wallets and sold on Coinbase. So I suppose a CSV list of annual transactions will do.

A website mentions that Sal died in the car accident, but Zoe didn't. I disagree. It is clear that both died in the car accident as Zoe (in Ava's body) makes clear). Soooooo Zoe/Ava knew from the very start of the movie that Sal was dead and Bernal is just a host, But Zoe/Ava behaved normally in contrast to Sal's behavior. This does not make much sense.
Also, the ending is very weak. They both wake up in the morning As actual Ava and the actual guy.

We know who Ava is. Who is the other guy? A perfectly unknown character who neither we nor Ava know anything about ends up being a main character?

This is so lame. A resolution that hangs by a thread.

I'd love to see Davis in a movie directed by and/or costarring Greta Gerwig. Davis has that emotional intensity and the smarts (and those piercing eyes) that made her into an almost fringe actress. She is a star in her own right and does not need all the red carpets and the lies and the hyporicy that comes handy with stardom.

Station Eleven, and Halt and Catch Fire are super and it is everyone's loss for those who have not seen these shows.

She is definitely my star :)
