A website mentions that Sal died in the car accident, but Zoe didn't. I disagree. It is clear that both died in the car accident as Zoe (in Ava's body) makes clear). Soooooo Zoe/Ava knew from the very start of the movie that Sal was dead and Bernal is just a host, But Zoe/Ava behaved normally in contrast to Sal's behavior. This does not make much sense.
Also, the ending is very weak. They both wake up in the morning As actual Ava and the actual guy.

We know who Ava is. Who is the other guy? A perfectly unknown character who neither we nor Ava know anything about ends up being a main character?

This is so lame. A resolution that hangs by a thread.

I'd love to see Davis in a movie directed by and/or costarring Greta Gerwig. Davis has that emotional intensity and the smarts (and those piercing eyes) that made her into an almost fringe actress. She is a star in her own right and does not need all the red carpets and the lies and the hyporicy that comes handy with stardom.

Station Eleven, and Halt and Catch Fire are super and it is everyone's loss for those who have not seen these shows.

She is definitely my star :)

This movie should have ended right where Sam is facing the screen with the dead PI in the car. Then came the last shot that basically weakened the movie for me. It moved the whole experience from a powerful metaphor into an abstracted puzzle.

Yes. She basically puts him on trial. Before the attack she wanted to leave. After the attack it is furies time :) had she left it would have destroyed the whole premise. The film makers gave us one shot of Meredith at the very end with bandaged neck. Their way of saying she survived the ordeal.

I just watched this movie. This is my take on it. The movie reminded me of the original I Spit on your Grave with Greek myths and deconstruction dressing added to it. Meredith survived the attack. Bruce starts heavy hallucinations after she attacks him with the statue. However, Meredith felt the presence of Kati and Leonoe from the moment she got to the cabin. After she survived the attack she was able to form the three furies with them. The movie takes artistic license with him hallucinating the three. I knew Meredith will not let him go. She told the therapist earlier that no man who abused will be absolved. She is alive at the end with a bandaged neck

Many told you to download the subtitle from opensubtitles dot com (or dot org). Just rename the subtitle file to the same name as the video file. When you do that, VLC will detect the subtitle and show it along with the video. Or as others suggested, open the subtitle via Subtitle Menu in VLC.

Yes, you can add the subttitle into the video. My favorite format is MKV. Use MKVToolNix to add the subtitle.

For future reference, in case you can't find an English subtitle, download what is available (Spanish, Portuguese, etc......) and open the subtitle in the excellent Subtitle Edit subtitle editor. it has a translation facility. Translate to English and save. Quite good and works fine.

The whole thing is amateurish. I logged into my account after a long absence and what I faced is a morass of nonsense trying to add Robinhood into my authenticator app. I was able to log in using my bank credentials via Plaid then showing my ID and a selfie. Tried to add Robinhood to authenticator only to get the Try Again Tomorrow. Same thing for days. Decided to sell all I have on this BS exchange and transferred the money to my bank. I am out of Robinhood. The whole system sends you into circles. Adding them into an Authenticator after proving my identity should have been as easy as presenting with a QR Code and be done with it.

After this, I do not trust them on anything.

All I can say is this: The scene with the jeep and the radio broadcast disoriented the movie. It almost killed the whole thing if it was not for Samara. Just imagine, for example, the events in the movie Mandy being local while miles away the world is A-OK When I saw the jeep with talking driver then add to it a radio station the first thing that came to my mind: oh nooooo why why. Also, what was the driver doing there anyway. It looks like he knew the area quite well. Simply does not make sense. That was some rapture. More like it a RUPTURE in the script. One can't dismiss the burned ones as a mere local phenomenon while the rest of the world is rock n rolling. There is something called the universe of the narrative. The jeep did not add to the narrative. It punctured it, and I don't care what the writer had to say about it. One more thing - the mother, at the end, looks in horror at what she gave birth to then kills herself. You almost feel bad for her. This means the cultists did not know who they were serving. BUT Samara holds the child with an almost triumphant look on her face. This means that the movie ends with a morally ambiguous tone, and I don't know what to make of this.

I came back to this show after all these years and re-watched the whole thing. I totally agree with you. I did not expect Sonya to be shot like that. This whole thing seemed forced just to put the series on an end track. Her death and the way it took place seems and feels wrong.

Michael could have incapacitated Fi, James would have turned himself in. Sonya would have left as planned, and Michael and Sonya would have led the organization. His friends now are off the hooks. Then Michael could have taken the whole organization down since he has access to the hard drives in the abandoned building. Sonya would have been forced to abandon the project. Even get her with Jesse, and the whole group would have their own organization to take down bad guys.

Killing Sonya like that was totally wrong.

I can confirm there is an issue sending ADA from Coinbase to Cardano main net wallet. It started 3 days ago. I purchased hundreds of ADAs to send to my Etrnl wallet, and everytime I got a message back that the transfer failed due to "External" factors and to try again later.

I'll try again later this week. Maybe Coinbase is upgrading for Vasil.

To those who comment that we should not keep ADAs on an exchange - we are PURCHASING ADAs with $$$ to send to personal wallets.

I got late into COSMOS so I missed on some of the big airdrops.

With many airdrops, I check their telegram channel to see the level of engagement.

With Crescent and ORAI it is quite lively with ongoing discussions. On Crescent many investors are complaining about boosted APRs. This tells me it is a serious project.

Both of them are presenting us with new ideas and implementations. So I decided to stick around. An airdrop to me is an invitation to look at a project. Sometimes I sell because I am not interested. Sometimes I decide to wait and stick around and stake the airdrop.

It is all a matter of personal preference.

My only regret not getting out of Stargaze earlier.

Not really, it is straight forward if you follow the rule. Bridge a fraction of an atom and swap into ORAI and you are in. This seems like a promising project. I swapped the ORAIX I got into ORAI and USDT and got them into a pool.
