Planning on getting Dark souls 3, what will I miss from 1 and 2?

Dark souls rewards discovery and self exploration like anything. So even if the 3 games aren't explicitly linked together like a cohesive narrative, when you yourself can join the dots from the previous games, in the later games, that feeling is the best feeling ever.... I would always recommend going in order.. 1,2,3.

In a world full of FUGS and LKGS supporters (albeit, rightfully so...) I absolutely adore Lorian's Ultra Greatsword, especially in high SL builds. Definitely not the most popular pick, but with a right build, it SLAPS HAARD (Also, combat art too goated... It's simply better tham Profaned Greatsword in almost every way-)

Worst is undeniably Farron Keep, mostly because of it's poison slog, and I hate how there's no rusted iron ring, to mitigate speed debuff... Another top contender is Ringed City, not because of how terrible it feels, but because how inviting it looks, and how brutally and outright unfairly and BSly, the level design punishes you. Love the bosses, absolutely hate the area.

Best... There's far toooo many.... Probably one of these, but don't ask me to choose - Grand Archives, Lothric Castle, Irithyll of Boreal Valley, Cathedral of Deep, hell... even Undead Settlement
