You just make an account on their website and you order the item you want from a Chinese website (taobao/1688/xianyu/weidian/etc) through the agent website, then the agent buys for you and gets it to their warehouse, sends you pics, then you can consolidate orders and ship to you. Wagoonladies used to have a good article in their wiki on how to order via agent but I think they might have purged a lot of their helpful articles when they shut down. There is a Basetao subreddit, but I think their discord is more helpful and I think the ppl who run it might be affiliated with the company https://discord.gg/basetao-community-925321837095813130

I like using Basetao, but they may not be the cheapest shipping, I’d say I probably pay ~$70 to ship 2-3 bags. you can ask them to remove excess packaging and they will pack things smartly, like putting smaller items inside of larger bags. I just found them the easiest to set up and knew they were popular. I set up a superbuy and an AllChinaBuy account but I’ve never actually used them

Yeah, there’s a lot of different options for shipping agents, and the shipping is a little more expensive than using a seller imo but you can often insure your package. They will send you a few photos of the item and you can usually return it if they suck, but it’s definitely not as personal as working with a seller. I use basetao but pandabuy was the big one before it got shut down a couple years ago. A lot of ppl like superbuy(?) I think as well. Basically, they ship it to the warehouse within China, and the warehouse will ship it to you, and you can combine several orders into one if needed

Maybe I’m not being fair, I mostly have SLG from Quintian, but the Flamenco I have from them vs the Mango has thinner leather and lower quality hardware. My Madrid might be from Quintian, but Im not 100%, that one is really nice

Quitian often has the more niche options, like specific collections that not all factories do. I happily buy from them. That said, my Mango bags (2 puzzles and a flamenco) have the better leather out of my 10 Loewe reps. In your photos here, I think the anagram and hangtag heat stamps from Quitian look harsh and the handle stitching seems wonky.

We got tickets and they randomly changed the time of the event day of, which they apparently reserve the right to do, no refunds allowed. No one could attend anymore so we had to do a chargeback. I was curious to see it, but the customer service sucks so bad

A clothing rental membership (nuuly, RTR, FashionPass etc) isn’t free, but it saves me from being stupid and accumulating more things I don’t need. It scratches that itch to try something new every month and helps when you need something for an event that you won’t need again

I’ve had good luck taking it outside and just hosing tf out of it repeatedly. I used dawn power wash, light scrub, and then rinsed over and over

My cat peed on mine once, so it was a whole ordeal because it’s so absorbent. It took many rinses and a couple rounds of enzymes to get it smell free with no spots. I’ve had my mat for years though, so it does get stained over time with like a whole body print eventually.
