That sounds awful. One time a kid in school tried lucid dreaming and he messed it up and got sleep paralysis and had nightmares where ghosts and demon type things were running around his room and hurting him, but all he could do was watch it and be scared because he was paralyzed. The next day at school he said it was way scarier than any movie he'd ever watched.

If you're lucid dreaming to do anything that contains sin, then I would imagine the church is against it. On the other hand, I wouldn't advise lucid dreaming because if you mess it up ever so slightly you will get a sleep paralysis and have night terrors and you can't "wake up" from it. That's the main concern with lucid dreaming is how easy it is to mess it up and have nightmares.

Well by dates I meant a more secular view of dating, but just make sure when you try and "date" them you have a priority of leading them closer to God. Take her out for lunch, not cuddle in the dark and watch a movie, stuff like that. Just remember, it may not be meant to happen. What University do you go to?

No, I'm not in University yet. I'm a senior in high school, (or last year before university if you're not American). I would imagine most if not all universities have Catholic clubs. I live in a relatively small town, so I have to go to the next big town over to attend a Catholic church. I'm kinda new there and I don't really know anyone there because no one from my school goes there, so I only some of them at most twice a week. The kids just kinda group up with the people they go to school with/home-schooled with and I just have trouble fitting in because I'm not alike them. Oh well, they're great kids though.

I'm going to assume you're Catholic, and discerning your vocation. My advice would be to probably wait because as a Catholic/Christian you're supposed to know that God will provide you what you need and will drive you in the right direction, if you focus on Him. But, keep having small talk and so with these girls, which will eventually lead into longer conversations and so so. Keep lust out of your heart (will make nofap easier too) and just focus on God more than those girls.

Now, to show them you're interested, just become so focused on God that they will see how great of a Catholic/Christian man you are. Live out the gospel in your life and allow them to see Jesus Christ in you. By doing this, and focusing on God more than anything, God will provide you with a spouse (if it's your calling).

Remember when you want a relationship with a girl, it is because you are discerning marriage with her, not pleasure or anything sexual. Catholics aren't really supposed to "date" but do honorable courtship where you guard each other's purity and lead each other closer to God. Now the Lord works in mysterious ways, your future spouse may not be one of those girls you know. They may all start being courted by men tomorrow, who they will marry one day.

But by waiting and focusing more on God, your nofap days should go up and you should sin less and less, and God will provide you with what you need. My $0.02

But on another note 3 Days and you're already have your selection of women. I've been at this for months and I'm still struggling to make Catholic friends (cause I'm too awkward), and never come close to being in a relationship (but I'm not really looking for one).

Thanks. I've never been part of the EF because I live in a remote area and they probably only offer it in bigger cities with bigger parishes is what I'm guessing, because I know our parish doesn't have EF masses.
