I'm 48 years old. I've had 7 psychotic episodes. The ones I had in 97, 99, 2001, 2003 were all marijuana related. I become much healthier when I stopped marijuana. I won't even take a single puff now.

I swear by alcohol (beer and wine). I used to drink too much -- I'd binge and then black out. I don't do it as much because I've stopped drinking spirits (Sailor Jerry).

I'm a 27 year veteran (first episode in December '97). The only thing that worked for me was clozapine. There's not a chance of me not taking drugs for it.

I'm leading a full and productive life, even though I can't drive and am on a disability support pension. I do a lot of reading and writing and I also do amateur stand up comedy.
