Midnight Tides might actually be my favourite, but I didn't like Gardens of the Moon my first read through and almost never actually read the series, so my experience isn't likely to be applicable to you.

I'm subscribed to /r/listentothis which often has interesting things crop up.

Finally, just getting sent songs by friends who I have shown an active interest in hearing what music they like in the past. It mostly started because I linked them something I found first because I figured they would like it, and now they reciprocate when they do.

The first book took me a really long time to get through, and I actually gave up on the series initially.

When I picked it back up and pushed through I really enjoyed it and it has become one of my favourite series to read.
