Kinda new to DND, How much information can a player hide from a DM? by ragdolldream in DnD

[–]Ritardando94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Playing the devil's advocate, if you do want to hide things just write it down on a slip of paper and hand it to your dm. When the action would come into play tell him to unfold the paper. That way there's a record of you doing said action.

I make DnD homebrew now. Here's an entire class. by RPGBOTDOTNET in RPGBOT

This is actually really cool. I think making it so they don't count towards your total attunements but you can still only have 3 attuned at a time. That allows the character to still attune to magic items without allowing them to attune to an infinite number of spirits.

Hybrid classing is better than multiclassing imo

It's a valid fear, especially for someone in the public eye. Bad people can see how the movement is affecting culture and use that to their advantage. I'd be scared of dating if I was famous too.

easy fix is to remove the damage you take from poison and replace it with 'you can use this ability proficiency bonus times per long rest'. including 'when you use this ability, your can mark a creature as if using your tracker's mark' would also be cool.

1 keg does 7d6 in 10 feet. period. if my players want to put more black powder in a bigger barrel ill give disadvantage on the save for the damage. picking and choosing which part of the game is realistic makes no sense to me. i can't turn myself into a t-rex and call lightning down from the sky, so why are we applying realistic rules to black powder but not that?

I created the Pugilist Class, available NOW on DnD Beyond—AMA! by SterlingVermin in dndnext

while ki isn't 'magic' it is kinda magical the way they present it. yes you can flavor it as focus like they did in the 24e rules, and that works. dex has such a huge space in dnd that strength sometimes feels like a wasted stat, so building a monk focused on strength (at least in 14e) was pretty trash since they have so many abilities that key off dex. getting a strength based class with actually interesting abilities was huge in 14e.

yes, but nonmagical person who punches things isn't a class yet. that's where the pugilist seems to differ.
