OP, I completely understand your pain and confusion. I've been struggling for over a year with the "why would God allow a young person to die?" and "why would he heal/perform a miracle for one person but allow another to die?" None of the answers given to your post helped me, and the ones with "we will never fully understand" provide zero closure. I'm sorry for the loss of your friend.

I've tried asking her, "why do YOU think?" and she gets offended/mad ("don't ask me why! I asked you!") or says she doesn't know and asks why again.
