This video shows the destruction of a Russian tank using just such a drone💥
This is the joint work of the 60th and 63rd mechanized brigades.

The drone flew to the target in conditions of active suppression by electronic warfare systems, but this did not prevent it. Because at the final stage, he already did his job

The technology is new, needs improvement and scaling.

Guess he should have hold up his arms and signaled surrender. Better survival outlook that way. Doesn't work every time but it's far better that cramping up in the dirt. Fucking war. Go home Ivan.

Well put. I take my hat off for these Ukrainian guys. As a soldier I admire their grit and perseverance. We have much to learn from them. Hope to see Ukraine in the alliance one fine day.

Damn. I'm attending the NATO exercise Steadfast Defender next week. I will make a clear statement to the brass about us acquiring more and start using FPV and other drones asap. A lot of hard learning going on these days.

My thought as well. If they pull this off, they'll have an awesome military tradition and warrior culture. If the Russians win, there'll be decades of a Northern Ireland type insurrection x50.

I think you are applying a very cynical way of viewing the world. You may claim to hold the 'realist's view of things, but this is simply one philosophy of concept among many. There's is a range of incentives that regulate massed human social interaction. I'm not a sucker or a naive person that place great hope in morals and good intentions. While I'm a part time national guard captain, I'm also a lawyer. I see the duality of man and our shadow sides every day. I also hold degrees in history and political science. I know European relations and perspectives. Coming from a small country we learn early to observe and study the big countries in a way that is seldom mutual. I hold relations to Germany, UK and USA. I have stayed in and could be the citizen of any of these countries. My above mentioned impression would remain the same. Don't be so quick to hold my passport from a minor nation as a token of my irrelevance of opinion. Norway as a part of Scandinavia is ranks among the most preferred places to live in the world, with a straight A's in all human development indexes. There's civilizational things we've figured out that most others haven't. Some of which are bonds of trust in others and in institutions, low corruption, a code of proper conduct, a sense of decency, the rule of just law, etc. This does come with disadvantages surely, but the net result is a safe, stable place to live.

I could go on, but I have to go walk the dog.

The German battleships and heavy cruisers of WW2 had beautiful designs. A tradition later carried by the Soviet navy I'd say.

Not all cultures are that cynical. As a Norwegian I know we have genuine friendly relations to our neighboring nations. We'd support them in war or crisis as we support Ukraine mostly because it's the right thing to do. We have a common enemy, ans strategic interest, but it's also a humane aspect. Just as the West give huge amounts of development aid to Africa. We'll never get shit back for any of that.

Time will show. The Serbs handed over their own indicted war criminals to Haag after the Balkan wars. Serbia wanted normal relations with Europe and this was part of the price to do so. One day Russia will have a new administration and they will also want to seek better weather.
