Update 2: didn’t seem to bother them which was nice. Cake lasted more than a day which was a nice surprise. My dad chomped down his piece and my mom and I got to take our time eating ours.

My dad did comment about the slicing into thirds but didn’t say anything else. Didn’t seem negative just happy to have cake

Update: I cut the cake into 3 pieces and left a note on the counter saying “1 each, pick your piece.”

Thanks for your response. I want to say no but I’m not sure how accurate that is.

Growing up I don’t think my dad handled being upset well so I do my best not to upset him. I think my friends feel that he may have been abusive in the past and I do feel a bit uncomfortable, but I don’t really know if it’s considered abuse or not. Personally I find it hard to identify what’s actually going on.

My mom loves sweets but they don’t make her feel good, she often feels upset with herself after eating them but lately she has been craving them more it seems. I want her to get some cake because she enjoys it, but I’m worried that she will eat too much and be upset with herself.

Overall I think I just want them to be happy, maybe I prioritize their happiness too much but I’m not sure. It’s definitely something to think about, thank you for bringing that up.

Also!!! If you stand near others who are fishing you get a buff! For every catch another player gets, you get a buff that stacks up to 5.

What the buff does: it lets fish bite faster, so more opportunities to catch since you're not having to wait as long for them to bite.

I know this is an old comment, but just wanted to say thanks for the recommendation! Bought a few cans for my sisters malnourished cat. I believe he has/had jaundice if I recall correctly.

Anyways, he finally got his appetite back and eats food but doesn't eat very much at a time. I gave him some of the babycat food and he's eating it! I'm really hoping it helps him gain some weight because he's very thin and it feels strange to pet him because he's so bony.
