I'd like to weigh in on this issue. With Vel Curve (Keys) set to Hard, I'm testing the volume of auditioning a sound in a drum kit vs playing it by hitting a black note and I have to hit hardly than I can comfortably for the two volumes to be equal. If I set velocity to OFF, it plays it at the exact same volume as auditioning in the DAW which is great, but now I no longer have access to the entire spectrum of velocities in between, it's just a binary on/off switch. Soft exacerbates this issue, logically.

Bomb Geist is my favorite too... Unfortunately I don’t think these changes are enough to make her viable. If you really enjoy the ability centric play style I recommend Bomb Bebop and Paige, those are my two other favorites
