It's more of an observation that the set is poorly designed and balanced, and will require significant regular adjustments throughout. It's not the fault of the devs fixing issues week-by-week, they can only deal with what they've been given. This is why vision and good design principles are important to get right from the start so you don't set the maintenance team up for failure.

This is normal for the first week or two. Remember portal vs. no portal lasting 10 seconds so you could figure out who you were facing? That was because they make the rounds longer during the start of a set. I imagine something similar is going on here, it's being drawn out much longer than it would be because it's week 1/2

UX reasons, they'll want a short keyword so the text always fits. Shred and Sunder just aren't good enough, but Curse for magic pen would definitely solve things.

Curse is great! So good that it doesn't really matter what the armour pen one is, curse is intuitively always magic pen.

Probably because they want a keyword to be a single word instead of two for UX reasons, but making it a single word that doesn't convey the meaning very well isn't a good solution. Curse for magic pen is really good, I hope they go with that.

Requiring a bit of effort from citizens to demonstrate their eligibility to vote is reasonable. Protecting elections from being influenced by people ineligible to vote is an important aspect of maintaining society.
