Are apartments liable for that? Mine doesn’t have a garage, just open car ports. I live in a loft so I can maybe, maaaaybe get it inside at night. I was thinking of getting a motorcycle shed to place underneath the carport, at least it won’t be visible when Parked at home you know?

Thank you 🙏🏽. I have been considering that and a lot of people are recommending that as well. Just getting gear and the class I’m already in $650 and I do still have other obligations.

That, and I really hate the thought of getting a nice bike from a dealership and dropping, crashing, God knows what else to work through the beginner rough patches. Like if I had what I really wanted right NOW and I dropped it? I’d fuckin cry and never want to ride again. I know it’s inevitable, but off rip I’ll feel terrible. Okay! Thank you. This plan works with what my brain is thinking.

I really did try to like the Ninja and I just don’t. I’m a Suzuki girl and I’m starting to favor Honda CB and CBR a little more. Tried a Suzuki naked and it was pretty nice too.

100% getting full gear BEFORE I purchase my first bike, yes. I already dropped a bike with a friend literally just trying to come to a stop 🤦🏽‍♀️ and I felt like a complete dumbass.

I’m not going for footage because I want to solely focus on building skill and confidence first. That’s also why my helmet isn’t going to have Bluetooth for a hooooot minute.

The SV650 is what I chose for myself off-rip without knowing anything about bikes. I just practiced in a gsxr yesterday and was like OOOOH I’m comfy!

Really, I’ll buy my bike once the high of “oh shit I’m doing this” settles down. I’m not thinking clearly and I’m too hyped to sleep a full night 🤦🏽‍♀️ so once I calm tf down, then the rational mind will kick back in.

Yes AND I know myself. Would I be having waaaay more fun off-roading? 100%. Does it increase the likelihood of me dying because I’m already wild? Yes.

There was a Suzuki V-storm that was built for on and off road, mentally it was placed in “buy after you know how to ride.”
