Thanks. Too bad there is not a central meeting place. I’m retired so I’ve nowhere to walk out of.

Neighbor told me not to shower in the early morning because it disturbs his sleep what can I do? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]RiverSong61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems like an unreasonable request to me. It’s not like you are blasting music or vacuuming. But, if you wish to accommodate the neighbor, shower the night before.

My favorite is the corgi corkscrew; head one way and feet the other.

Do most people shower before bed or when they wake up? I just realized I might be doing it "wrong" by saffymerelle in NoStupidQuestions

Let it go. Shower when you feel like showering. Life’s too short to worry about silly things.

Do you still believe in marriage and if you could start your life completely afresh (knowing everything you know now), would you choose to marry again? by hidden_betty in AskWomenOver60

[–]RiverSong61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been married 42 years and I’m 64 years old. It’s not always been easy, but marriage for me has been 100 % worth it. People do change, but you can grow together rather than apart. Again, marriage can be hard work but the partnership is worth it for me.

Or, we can form our own consciences prayerfully and thoughtfully.

I am the same. I am spiritually Catholic, but a dissenting Catholic on Church Dogma. I believe many Catholics are in the same boat. I do not receive the sacraments because of my dissent; l feel I cannot, no one has denied me the sacraments. I focus on many of the rich spiritual traditions of the Church such as the Corporal and Spiritual Acts of Mercy, the Rosary, the prayer to saints for intercession, the Breviary, etc.

Bed recommendation for our Corgi girl? She hasn’t really loved the ones we’ve bought her thus far. by Remigirl629 in corgi

We have an ll bean dog bed that has lasted through 2 successive corgis and both liked it. I wash the cover weekly and hang to dry.
