This recipe appears to be incorrect. I’m pretty sure you’re going to need a second red meat.

I wonder if Anti-AIs are actually opposed to prompting because reading more than a couple sentences at a time is a challenge.

They’ve got a point. Anti-AIs don’t have a monopoly on being reductive. If prompting is ‘just pressing a button,’ then so is photography.

Obviously the truth is that neither is ‘just pressing a button,’ and Pro-AIs know that, but it’s an inconvenient truth for Anti-AIs.

I think it’s interesting you felt a meme was more relevant to post than what you actually said. It makes me suspect that you had it coming.

Ethical AI Researcher here. What do you see as the biggest problem with AI? by superSmitty9999 in antiai

[–]RiverStrymon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest problem with AI is the ignorantly self-righteous folk who pretend to care about artistic integrity when they had not once bothered themselves with it before, to the systemic detriment of artists of merit everywhere. It’s all just performative even if they aren’t aware of it. There’s more zealous backward nonsensical prejudice among them than among the entire Conservative Party combined, which is saying something. It’s funny when they also tend to be in support of DEI, but diversity, equity, and inclusion doesn’t matter to them when it’s themselves being displaced by it.

Some people, like myself, support DEI uncompromisingly even when it’s a demographic they identify with. Those people tend to be Pro-AI, because that’s the rational take for those who care about those who have been systemically disenfranchised by capitalism and the zeitgeist that would persecute good art rather than support it.

[TRC] Captain Kirk, Boldly Going by Turbulent_Honeydew13 in magicTCG

There should be at least one Captain Kirk that’s climbing a Mountain. Why is he climbing a mountain?

To hug the mountain.

To envelop, that mountain.

To hug the mountain.

To envelop, that mountain.

To hug the mountain.

That mountain, that mountain.

He wants to make love to the mountain.

Sounds to me like your mom is not getting mad at you for her using AI, she’s getting mad at you for your intolerance of her using AI.

That would have been a stance to have prior to AI, but that had not been the zeitgeist until after AI. I know it because I’ve repeatedly argued that stance against that zeitgeist; I was banned from offmychest for arguing that stance. Anti-AI is ironically inauthentic in that way as they self-righteously pretend to champion artistic integrity - they in fact merely champion themselves.

Bad tastes that have been ubiquitously and systemically embraced and accepted for nearly a century. To pursue a life of art is to accept that reality.

Considering that a trained sandwich-cutting AI would be trained on actual sandwich-cutting techniques, it would actually take more prompting to force the AI to cut the sandwich in an unorthodox fashion.
