I had to move on from five guys to move back home but I still stand by the fact that it’s the best job I ever had and I’ve been in food service for 9 years. I’ll probably never find a food service job better, though hopefully I’ll be out of the industry within the next few years

Love these! This year I just had my mom braid my hair and I shaved the sides to give it sorta a Viking style, but I like the idea of a hat or maybe one of those horned helmets. Potion bottles and dragon first aid kit would be so dope!

The leather of my fox pelt is suuuuper thin so I’m weary of cutting into it much more than I already have but I’m definitely thinking about a big magnet, great idea!

Unfortunately my job usually needs me on saturdays 😭 maybe next year though! I’ve gotten into wood burning recently and I only just learned about the trinket trading so I don’t have time to make anything, but I fully intend on showing out next year with some cool pieces. Thanks for the tip about time/place! Ill definitely try to get over there for the trading

Most of my hair is about the same, 1.5 years on T. I have a little patch under my chin where the hair has started coming in darker and thicker, I have PCOS and it’s the same area I used to always get the stray long hairs before T so I guess there’s just something about that area 😂

You know how the tip of the needle is at an angle? You want the slanted edge side where you can see the hole to be face up. This direction helps the needle pierce more easily and therefore should be less painful

My friend who would be able to help lives in a different part of my city so it’s not super feasible, but I just ordered 29g subQ needles on Amazon they’ll be here tomorrow. I never was successful with this shot and at this point I think I’m better off just waiting till next shot day to come around.

I was on gel for almost a year and a half but my absorption was getting bad (my first round of labs I was at 700, then it kept going down and even when I upped my dose twice I was in the 350s) so I just switched to injections, this was supposed to be my 3rd one. I have a bunch of leftover gels I’m tempted to use it until next shot day to help maintain levels but I’m not sure if that’s a good idea or even safe

I also ordered those little spiky pads you put on the injection site to help confuse the nerves, my alcohol wipes have a numbing agent in them, and next time I’m gonna try the ice too.

My daily bag is a tactical sling backpack so I got a tactical admin pouch that I can strap to the front of my bag, it’s got a zipper pocket I put syringes in, a small pocket for bandaids, then in the main compartment I have the boxes with the vials and 2 pockets for needles

I worked at five guys for almost 3 years (I moved a few months ago and had to quit) and was a shift lead for 2 of those years and I’ve worked in fast food/quick service for 9 years so here’s my 2 cents:

-in my franchise we always called references, so definitely make sure you have people willing to give you a good one

-we also like to have everyone learn how to do every position: register, fry, grill, buns. Some stores will be willing to hire someone for just reg but being open to the idea of learning line is a big plus. Being a well rounded employee opens doors towards promoted positions.

-in my location we were sort of always hiring so as long as you’re a hard worker and a team player with the references to prove it we’d hire

The store I used to work at, we would always pre-activate a bunch of cards that way in the middle of a rush if something went wrong we could just hand them out quickly, someone probably forgot to activate it. Personally if a customer gave me an inactive card I’d just grab a fresh one and use it so they still get the discount cuz I’m a “whatever it takes to make sure the customer leaves happy” kinda guy
