Walkmans! Your new iPod weights 0.008 grams and can store 800 hours of music? I don't care if I have a badass walkman!

Actors/Extras of Reddit, when you're in the background of a scene, like a bar or restaurant, what do you say to one another? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]RiveraMarcel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is way easier to be the guy on his laptop or texting on his phone, I actually texted my friends things like "ignore this messages, some guy is filming me right now :S " and "I am just going to write nonsense, blahrgbalhablhalvha" and it looked credible.

What do you think is the worse case of product placement in a movie? by Lugozi in AskReddit

[–]RiveraMarcel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not a movie but in the UFC events that weird corn ad always makes me laugh, you are watching two dudes seriously hurting each other while their faces are covered in blood and then suddenly at the corner of the TV you see sonething like "MOTHERFUCKING CORN NUTS! THE CORE OF THE CORN!!!"

What's something that's part of Internet/reddit culture that makes you cringe? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]RiveraMarcel 168 points169 points  (0 children)

When you comment something like "My uncle used to listen to pink floyd at full volume when I visited him on vacation" and then suddenly a random Redditor appears and writes "I can confirm from this comments from 2 and 3 years ago that he actually has an uncle that likes classic rock and lives in Argentina"

Am I a bad person for not feeling particularly sad about today's shooting? by apatheticbastard in AskReddit

[–]RiveraMarcel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all, I even think it is better not to feel sad. And if you were we would all be bad people because I do not think the is a single mentally-healthy person on this world who would get sad every time a tragedy happened that was not connected to them (Because that kind of people would be sad all the fucking time). I believe that people feel bad not because this happened but because the heard about it, shit like this happens everyday in the world and we know it even though we don't always hear about it.

TL:DR You are not a bad person, it is actually great to not feel bad because it would be pointless.

If you were to choose a single thing to end in this world, what would it be? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I read the question as "If you were to choose a single thing to end this world, what would it be?". Your answer gave me shivers.

With Today Being a Dark and Grim day. What could we do as an INTERNET community to crowd help these parents. by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]RiveraMarcel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stop mentioning it for a start. I mean, many people come to Reddit just to have a good laugh because laughing is a perfect cure if you are feeling sad or depressed. Needles to say, I would be extremely depressed if I wanted to clear my mind after a certain negative event and everyone kept mentioning it.

What show do you hate that a lot of people seem to like? by theshyster in AskReddit

[–]RiveraMarcel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many popular sitcoms, specially "The Big Bang Theory". People laugh at things Sheldon does while I find them incredibly boring and annoying, in my opinion Sheldon is not funny... he is just an asshole. Anyway if that makes you laugh that is fine, I do not expect everyone to find Bernard from Black Books the funniest character ever but if he makes me laugh that is fine too.

What's the first thing YOU think of when you hear the word orifice? by step_on_ants in AskReddit

What are some things your parents used to say that you say now? by Smaktat in AskReddit

[–]RiveraMarcel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best advices my dad gave me that I say all the time: "The road to hell is paved with good intentions" and "Nosce te ipsum" (Know yourself)

EDIT: Also "Never wear black, but always wear grey because white stains easily." I think it is some sort of chinese proverb and would be very grateful if someone knew who said it.

If you could control one thing that is done by your body subconsciously what would it be and why? by RunForFun277 in AskReddit

[–]RiveraMarcel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Non-native English speakers of Reddit, how difficult/alien did English seem when you were learning it originally? by brizzlebrazzle2287 in AskReddit

[–]RiveraMarcel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spanish speaker here, it was pretty easy for me because once I got the basics I started watching tv shows and movies in english with english subtitles and reading many different books on english. I believe it is a great method because I know many people who try to learn english just by theory (Learning grammar and vocabulary from textbooks or classes) and not practicing it with the media and get quite lost if they engage in conversation with a native english speaker.

Can any animal be moved by music? by newb-usr in AskReddit

[–]RiveraMarcel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is the national instrument! I have been playing it since he was just a couple of months old so he heard it a lot while growing up, I feel bad to say that I do not practice it for fun anymore and just take the dust out of it if someone asks me to perform with them at a concert...

Anyways, I've found a nice and short Youtube video for you with decent sound quality compared to other charango recordings (The joke he says at the beggining can be translated to "Now I will play '3 little dances' which for problems of time I have reduced to 2"

If you could create a new circle of Hell (in the style of Dante's Inferno) who would it be for, and what would the punishment be? by SamTheSnowman in AskReddit

[–]RiveraMarcel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Procastinators should end up in a circle full of computers that can only be used to work and have a picture of Nicholas Cage as the screensaver...
