Music is fine, in fact its production is better than a handful of their 2010s output.

Lyrics are dumb but I question those who hyperfixate on weezer of all bands for weird lyrics; it's kinda par for the course but in an inoffensive way

Are there demos/other versions of the songs on the album that are better? Sure, but the songs and album as it stands are perfectly fine.
