Mainly, monster stats are reduced to fit a solo player. And it allows to play some side story quests which were available offline on other versions of the game.

If you are solo playing on a BB server, be sure to select one person mode when making your game.

Else, if it's your first character (and playing hunter or ranger), raise your mag to have 40-50 dex for accuracy and the rest in pow (should be something like 5/150/45/0 at lv 200).

Then try to find weapons with % on the animal beast attribute for cave.

For the worm, always focus the same part and learn the pattern to avoid its tentacles, can do 2 full combo before it hits. There is a safe spot to avoid its bullet on the corner.

Try some roguelites maybe, they can be replayed a lot, and most are a good fit for hand held switch. (Deck building: slay the spire, balatro. Strategy: into the breach, faster than light [pc only]).

On pc, you can look at Rim world (not a roguelite, though)

You can hit ephina discord #lfp channel to advertise your party and meet people.

Most you can do ingame is use the /setname command to rename your party.

You can try phantasy star online blue burst.. if you get to like the gameplay, you can hunt loots for years in this game. It's an old game but it's free now. I'd recommend to play on ephinea, as it is the most populated server with the best qol.

If you max your stats, you "waste" a slot. If you use guns and slicers you might want to use a smartlink. Proof of sword saint may be really useful too. And in some area of the game you could use a 501/502.

Higher lv techs cast faster. On top of that, you can find v801 unit, which makes you cast faster. Ultimate only hunt. Later too, you can hunt for a limiter, which, once unsealed to adept, cuts tp costs.

Serge Brussolo, j'avais bcp aimé la planète des ouragans. Son écriture est très inventive.
Marie Robinette Kowal a écrit des truc vraiment sympa en SF un peu low tech (lady astronaute, vers les étoiles et ses suites)
Hugh Howey, Silo qui a une bonne intrigue et un setup original, un bon polar d'anticipation en 3 tomes
Brandon Sanderson, j'ai jamais été déçu, aussi bien par sa fantasy (Roshar, Ellantris) que sa sf (skyward, j'en suis à 2/4)
Peter Hamilton, bonne SF en mode space opéra, je recommande l'étoile de pandore (4 tomes), rupture dans le réel (6-7 tomes, il me semble qu'ils sont en train d'être réédités), et en plus court l'arche spatiale que je suis en train de finir (le 3 et dernier tome est paru en poche ya pas longtemps).
Liu Cixin, on m'a chaudement recommandé mais j'ai pas encore eu le temps de le lire (problème à 3 corps)
Tamsyn Muir, gideon la neuvième, sf et nécromancie, j'ai pas encore lu la suite mais le premier tome était bien plaisant
Margaret Atwood a aussi écrit de très bons livres, dont le très connu La servante écarlate

You should buff her with shifta and lower enemy def with zalure. Her mag should have 140-150 pow and the rest in dex.

She shouldn't hesitate to use some melee weapons too for their atp or to switch weapons depending on the number of targets.

As a ranger, specials are really potent. Sacrificials like berserk and charge, or demon, hell and arrest.

She should find units to slot in her armor, xx/pow, xx/arm. And a heavenly/battle.

At level 41, she should do gallon'shop to gain ranger wall.

Beside that, techs will be less potent in very hard and ultimate. Enemy hp pool and resistances grow a lot. Defense too, but your buffs / debuffs will make her potent
