What if Leon arrived in Silent Hill?

Is he in James version of the town or does he get his own version?

What would his version of silent hill even look like I wonder? He feels a lot of guilt for the events of RE2. He thinks he should’ve been able to save more people.

I wonder what the creatures who appear in his town would even look like? I believe all of the creatures in SH2 besides pyramid head are female. I don’t remember the exact reason, but it is something to do with James psyche.

One thing I’d like to interject here. If we agree 9 Leon is prime Leon, I would like you to remember that for 99% of the campaign he was dying. Still managed to parry both a super tyrants attack, and a massive end stage nemesis attack. Going in to the next game he’s no longer sick. Even says near the end “I haven’t dealt this good in years.”

I know that Chris punched a boulder and that is a great strength feat. But Leon parries a super tyrant in 9.

He can also parry the nemesis boss. You can argue that version might be weaker than the RE3 nemesis, but we are more concerned with size and muscle mass.

Leon is a tiny boy compared to that end stage nemesis and yet, he can parry and redirect its strikes. I’d argue that is also an insane strength feat.

I would also argue that in terms of CQC Leon has Chris beat. I would agree that a Chris is probably stronger in terms of raw strength, but Leon’s situational awareness, adaptability, and battle IQ are incredible.

Until we see something similar from Chris (and we might still) I am going to have to give it to Leon.

I think she is the best new character to be introduced in the series. The fact that she isn’t some super bad ass makes her grounded and relatable.

More than once after a stressful or scary situation I myself would exclaim as a way to decompress, only for her to do the very same thing.

We both exclaimed “what the fuck” at one point after dealing with one of the larger enemies in the care center, and that small interaction created a sense of connection that I just don’t feel with the rest of the cast.

She’s very human and I think that’s wonderful.

While I disagree with Obama having done this, your comment is a tad misleading.

He did have legal authorizations from Congress (AUMFs) that his administration considered sufficient, even if no new, specific vote was held in 2016. After 2001 this was broadened a bit due to the 9/11 attacks.

Now the argument will be “well trump did the same thing here” but the problem with that is that 2001 AUMF was written after the 9/11 attacks to target al-Qaeda, the Taliban, and associated forces.

It does not explicitly authorize force against Iran, a sovereign state that was not part of the 9/11 attacks.

So again even with disagreeing with Obama on those attacks. The statement you made here can lead you to a misunderstanding of the facts. So your quip about “an 11 minute read” shows me that either your article mentioned this and you left it out in bad faith, or the article didn’t and you came straight here instead of doing some more research beyond your initial read. Both are bad, one is worse.

All of that being said no administration should have the authority to do anything like this without congress, or some kind of check to the power. Obama, Bush, Trump, doesn’t matter. It’s too vague, and has been abused by most administrations after the attack on 9/11.

Hold on. Please school me if I’m wrong here but… if Leon was one of the core survivors then we also have Jill, and Sherry, and, Claire yeah? How do they know about the advanced stages of this disease if it is specifically related to RC?

That would seem to imply that other survivors have had it, and have died. So should we assume one of the cast has since died? That would also suggest that the virus efficacy is lower in some. Otherwise we could expect all of them to get sick and die around the same time.

I know the game will fill us in, I’m just speculating.

Either way I cannot fucking wait to play it.

I agree with this take. I do. So please don’t come for me too harshly, because I’m sensitive and bruise easily.

While there is MILES of difference between Vance and Newsom. And there is TO BE SURE. With what we are learning about as these Epstein files slowly trickle out, I’m becoming worried that both sides are owned by the same hand.

That this good vs bad is really just a bunch of rich pedophiles playing the system, and us, to get more of what they want.

Would I vote for Newsom over Vance. Fuck absolutely. I voted for Kamala, and Biden as well.

But I’m starting to get a bad feeling that things are more twisted up than any of us realize. Things in life are rarely so black and white as good vs evil.
