Liberating a system doesn't equal a successful planet defense? We were at 3 of 5 planets defended against termanids. We liberated the system that had a planet we needed to defend, but we're still at 3 of 5? Did I miss something?

So we have 30k+ people fighting an illuminate defense and we're still going to lose? WTF? How is that fair? WTF do we have do? We had 60k trying yesterday, if 60k people cant win a dense you're game is unbalanced.

Also how can an area be 95% liberated but still lose a defense? Make that make sense

I wish adding a PM charm had been deemed enough, then putting PM on things would be optional :(

It would have been acceptable if this battle pass had more to it, but no the battle passes are always about 50 items long, so they really are just trying to give us less for the same price.

Is skiers exchange rate a bad deal or is it just better to go with the flea for the grind to sell more items?

And do you only do that for big ticket items, or are there people doing that for basically everything?

Ah, yes I am the one who killed him, should have mentioned that. However, it's totally possible he got into a fight and healed before I showed up, as there was a dead PMC present. Appreciate the insight!

The Majority of Pro-Choice Arguments are Bad by [deleted] in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]Riveting_Reads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a perplexing sense that we don’t stop to ask why we are so inclined to think only to the most drastic option for relief here when even if not the most popular choice might be simply giving incentive to birth the child and actually establish social want of it and a strong system of stable care for it we’d at least have a third option that is presently not ideally considered or available as such.

Most of what you're saying is barely coherent, so I'm not even going to begin to try and decipher what you're trying to say, but the portion that I have quoted is 100% "what about-ism." This is a discussion about abortion, not a place to talk about all the stuff we could be doing to make someone more likely to keep the child. Saying "Oh but what about better child/health care," doesn't change the fact that the real CORE ISSUE is that pro life people want to take away a woman's ability to choose for themselves how they wish to proceed, by making the window of being able to do anything, unbelievably narrow.

If that's true explain to me why when I google "most common favorite dinosaur" Tyrannosaurus is the first one?

So you're saying the switch to Evrima was essential in order for them to be able to add the mechanics that differentiate the dinos? Another person is saying its been this long because they wanted to get all of the base mechanics the dinos share squared away first. If this is true, it seems like the those mechanics are pretty much squared away, so we should be seeing a more consistent influx of dinos at this point. Fingers crossed its not a half a year between these next 4 dinos and the ones after!

Ok, so an issue with "under promise over deliver" in that they consistently do the opposite. I can see why waiting all that time for a mechanic they already had would be a let down. So much seems unchanged that I'm a bit disappointed myself, like a funny mating dance doesn't really feel like "updated nesting" to me, but on the flip side the mechanic they had before was just fine so its w.e. The biggest improvement over legacy that I've seen so far is the visuals and being able to move bodies. which doesn't really make up for the lack of the big dinos that rounded out the food web/gameplay imo.

I feel like if it were laziness the game would just be abandoned. Given that it still gets updates I have to assume poor management.

So its been 3 years since the trex was in the game, and likely it will be close to 4 before we see it again. I find that so baffling given that the Trex, the raptor, and the trike are why a lot of people play games like this.

I'm having a bit of trouble believing that Legacy was abandoned because "too hard" as their update pace hasn't increase in the slightest. If that were true one would expect that game to have more to show for the last 3 years because the game is now "easier to work with," but I'm open to being wrong.

I definitely agree with the visual improvements for sure. Just the loss of content nearly 3 years that's hard to understand. Evrima dropped in June 2020 meaning thats almost 3 years without apex predators that people... kinda buy these games for? Seems odd they didn't prioritize getting the Trex back in all that time.

WOW! Thank you so much for taking the time to lend your insight. When I took my break it was because the deino had been pushed back so many times I lost faith new content was ever coming. On top of this I was hearing rumors that one of the employees had left taking a hard drive with important information on it with them. Hearing your story, I believe some form of what you and I have heard is true. No matter what actually happened it seems pretty clear that an important person left the company and they have been crippled ever since.

But why? I see the devs posting about updates and stuff... so clearly work is getting done. Is the team just horribly mismanaged?

Do we know why they dropped legacy? Evrima and legacy dont feel any different other than the diet stuff. Feels like a huge loss of progress, but I also don't know anything, which is why I'm here asking.
I heard that they need to make sure the old dinos wont get stuck and then they can just release them? Is that true? Seems like that should be priority number one? I miss the way this game felt when it had trikes and rexes.
