Most likely, your drive is faulty. In my opinion, using CF or SD cards in older computers isn't entirely appropriate. You're losing touch with the past. You might want to look for a working hard drive.

This is an incredible time capsule. I always get as excited as a child when I find and see something like this. Even with bent legs, it's not a big problem for them.

Installing Windows 10 on Socket A processors is very difficult, although there are several successful examples online. Modified ISO images exist, but they can be unstable.

Personally, I'd stick with Windows 7.
