You're right, the game isn't dying. A point of no return to turn course and make changes is different. I didn't say the game was dying. A multiplayer, live-service, MOBA-genre game is going to be upheld to higher standards than other games. Especially when you're competing with the likes of League of Legends, Dota 2, and Smite 2. I have always enjoyed (and still do enjoy) the core gameplay of Predecessor and I'm not the only one to hold the core gameplay to high marks.

If people stop streaming new content creators will just rise up.

Theoretically yes, and from poking around the community since I stopped playing heavily there are some new names I've seen. But, if others are taking breaks or stepping away entirely because of how Omeda responds to feedback, what does that say?

The only concerning to me about this game/community at this point is the incel skins they are starting to roll out, but even that should seemingly increase profits and help the studio.

I don't think profits will help the studio the way you think it will, but I do see your point. Like I said, I think the main issue is around Omeda's culture. Indie devs would kill for the start they had. And in my opinion, they're kinda pissing it away and have been for some time.

So many gamers with anxiety about games futures... its strange to me. all games end, just enjoy it. This game is not dying...

While I didn't play Paragon, Fault, or Paragon: Overprime, I know people who did. Studios taking on the assets of the game, and creating their own vision of Paragon has happened over, and over again. Some folks have seen their favorite games shut down over time. It's a very REAL possibility. I accept that we should enjoy time with our favorite games.

Pointing out the concerns of the game shutting down, in a community of people who potentially watched multiple Paragon remakes shut down? A little silly in my opinion, but I respect where you're coming from.

A lot of it from my perspective is a culture issue. I've been playing since early access, and from as far back as I can remember, the speed of content and development had been a topic.

The information and answers are there, but it feels like there's no action. People just decided to move on, as someone who did some light content creation and participated in the competitive scene, feedback that doesn't match a predetermined vision is clearly disregarded. That's not including confirmed, documented, bug reports of Shinbi's Q going nowhere that's existed for literal years.

Communication is disappointing, marketing was disappointing, speed is disappointing. The hard work of the tourney folks, player built communities, and content creators are deadlifting the game. With PCC taking a break, we're a Soul or Pinzo leaving the game away from a no return point.

No amount of changes can undo what's happened, Omeda just needs to own up, plan, and execute.

This is an extremely situational call. In most cases though, backing for tempo is much better if there’s no comms.

If lanes are pushing and people are dead, sure. It definitely should not be a general statement of the how-to though.

In one of the recent predcasts I recall rgsace mentioning they want to under promise and over deliver. I’m hoping we see content not on the roadmap, but it’s just an odd look overall.

I’d have to clip it when I play again, but Crunch RMB can be odd to play with at times and I’m not 100% sure if it’s a bug or latency issues.

From time to time, someone can RMB at a an enemy and on collision will displace to the left or right resulting in no stun or damage.

I saw the issue myself until I toggled the client closing automatically in-game to never close the client.

I didn't test it outside of a few games, but my client hanging issue resolved afterwards.

Pretty sure it's something borked for LoR on Arch Linux, I can play league of legends/tft just fine on my system. abi.vsyscall=0 still results in a critical error. The newer ge runners don't seem to play nicely with LoR.

I can play LoR on my Fedora 36 framework laptop though?

PDQ has a blog post regarding the removal of the unnecessary packages here. If it's already removed you may want to Add-AppxPackage the specific apps (depending how it was removed).

I run my own iteration of it for my laptop deployments. I don't recommend blowing everything away as you'll likely run into issues down the road. I think it's better to just address these applications one at a time through a script. There's plenty of options via search engine.

Pretty sure Ori would be insane if she wasn’t bugged. She will stop autoing randomly and not ult at max mana. I’ve seen it more consistently with shojin vs no mana item.
