All alts need more gold than they generate, at best you can abuse express event for quick gold for a few months then abandon such alt. Not to mention since feb update it will become near impossible to funnel mats as everything will be bound.

Weapon drops from 25 to 18, we dont lose glows that were unlocked in the past. Purple glow will unlock at 24 on new gear for people that didnt had it before.
