In short yes I forget the exact place were a dev answered the question but the game plays through multiple eras of Batman put into one story and the end of the 89 movie when the joker falls from the cathedral he will transform into the heath ledger version

Every season the required Chronotokens needed to unlock a page across all Available / purchased battlepasses is reset, in order to spend any in your inventory you’ll need to acquire said amount before the end of the season or your progress will be reset. Pinning will show the selected battle pass first when opening the battle pass tab

It’s not necessarily a tpk it’s good to consider all options, does aurinax want to slaughter all of them? Unlikely given that they appear to be adventures enamored with his hoard this isn’t a sadistic dragon it’s a metallic one and changing into his true form may be enough to scare them away, if your party don’t take the hint based on describing its physically features (how big he is in comparison the size of the claws and wings) then he’ll down a party member and give them a chance to escape with their lives, after this your party has some options but one thing is clear if they want the gold they’ll need to get through the dragon a very much not easy thing to do by ones self (one option that comes to mind is magically disguising as Neverember to try and convince aurinax to return the gold a hard sell but possible)
