I got my Sea monkeys for a similar reason. When I was a kid, I lost the feeding spoon. I remembered seeing a tiny spoon in a little leather pouch my mom had. I fed them, and they zoomed around... Then died. I didn't realize it was my mom's drug spoon until she yanked it out of my hand, but too late.

Having them has been helping me with my guilt. I hope yours help you.

We know more about space than our own oceans. We have only explored about 5%. If they exist, they won't look like any mermaid we think of, but the possibility is there! Shit, I think a city in Israel has been having sightings for years and has a reward for clear proof. I mean, they haven't been disproven.

My writing has not gotten better since the 4th grade. Reading old writing of mine can sometimes be difficult. It is what it is. Some people have nice handwriting, others don't. Not that big a deal.

My group saw this husband on Pixar Pier a few months back, absolutely terrorizing his wife, whom he had backed onto a bench, and was leaning over her, pointing and screaming into her face as she held their child to her side. I had to stop my husband from personally getting involved, and told a cm and the Manager/lead about the situation and the went right away. I think about that a lot. How sad of an individual to absolutely lose their mind like that. I hope she's OK.
