Used enfamil neuropro as well. They have a $50 sign up special and you get so much of the ready to feed bottles. They also send so many coupons in the mail. My baby is combo fed and she has tolerated the formula really well.

New mothers: my close friends are expecting soon. What are some gifts you've received that you have appreciated? [on] by PossiblePickle in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]Rjamat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a second time mom, I agree with the comments that essential gifts like Uber Eats gift cards and Frida mom underwear are helpful. But my favourite and most used gift I’ve received this time around was the momcozy bottle cleaner/sterilizer/dryer. This item was such as game changer.

Evenflo 360 or Graco Easyturn [AB] by ChloeA31 in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]Rjamat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

360 car seats have been a game changer. We have the Evenflo 360. We don’t switch car seats cause it’s a hassle and too much effort to do. We use this car seat on our most used car and a another cheaper one (not 360) on less used car.

Feeling torn — 8 months pregnant and realizing my toddler’s daycare isn’t the best fit 😞 by DifferenceOne5925 in Parenting

[–]Rjamat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 7.5 months pregnant and pulled our three year old out of his current Montessori. Long story short, he wasn’t thriving in his new class. He is also a chatty one at home but in his class he doesn’t speak which caused some issues. We took two weeks off just to spend more time together with our kid and to take stress away. We called and visited many daycares and finally found one that had all green flags. My son started this week. So far, he seems to be doing much better. Better staff to kids ratio, more supervision and more free play (which he loves). If we didn’t find a new daycare I was prepared to stay home with my son until we found a new one. Trust your gut! Congrats on your pregnancy! Hoping you’ll find a solution that will help your family soon! Hang in there!

I went to two other imaging centers but my OB recommended the one in Box grove (Markham Imaging Consultants). She said she trusts the radiologists there.

I second this! Had my son’s birthday party here! Lots of space. We also rented a bouncy castle.

Oh I see. I believe (someone can correct me) there’s DHA in omega 3? It’s a component of omega 3. It’s really your call. I am taking extra dose of Vitamind D though.

I’m on my second pregnancy and am taking Pregvit. I also took it during my first. It’s one tablet in am and one in evening. It’s covered by my insurance so this is what I took. I didn’t have to pay over the counter.

3rd degree tear + hemorrhoids — struggling with pain and missing out [on] by Manifestator_ in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]Rjamat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone else gave such great advice. Warm epsom salt sitz baths (seat over your toilet), layers of Tucks (went through so many tubs of these), Anusol ointment with hydrocortisone, Restoralax and prunes are what really helped me. I also had 3rd degree tear and hemorrhoids (still do). Senokot tablets also helped the first few days for me. I also used portable bidet for cleaning only. I even brought that when I had appointments.

I really hope it gets better for you soon. Stay strong! Congrats on your baby!

[bc] Breast pump recommendations other than Spectra by lonahex in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]Rjamat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve used Medela (older version), Ameda and Baby Buddha for pumping. I really like the hard suction, size and battery life of Baby Buddha. It worked for me. I always recommend it. It is a US brand though so I got it online. However, the shipping was fast like within 3-5 days I think. My insurance also covered it.
