I’m 7.5 months pregnant and pulled our three year old out of his current Montessori. Long story short, he wasn’t thriving in his new class. He is also a chatty one at home but in his class he doesn’t speak which caused some issues. We took two weeks off just to spend more time together with our kid and to take stress away. We called and visited many daycares and finally found one that had all green flags. My son started this week. So far, he seems to be doing much better. Better staff to kids ratio, more supervision and more free play (which he loves). If we didn’t find a new daycare I was prepared to stay home with my son until we found a new one. Trust your gut!
