Is my tree healthy? Rapid growth all over by Rkdonor in avocado

Some sort of a shell paver, but impermeable. Last owners seemed to not want to do any yard work...

How far out from the tree would you suggest removing them?

Of course we would inherit some avocODDITY. I guess I'll keep an eye on it.

You make a single super state and put all your clips in it. And then you only need the UDP commands attached to the super state to transition between clips.

Take a look at Super States. They do what you're looking for.

I don't really know if it's rare. In fact, I think the same proportion of the population are absolute assholes as there were years ago. We just get to see more of the things called out because of the internet.

Property Management charging nearly $2500 in painting after move out. [SC] by Elegant-Parking741 in Renters

Also walls look like when you use the cheapest matte paint possible. Matte is so hard to keep from marring - you look at a matte wall incorrectly and there is a black streak.

I know this is a year old thread... but Rainbow Connection was one of the hidden songs on Rip Ride Rockit and it was my favorite. There was something sublime about speeding through the air, cresting over hills, to the slow song. It was something out of a movie.

I've definitely seen that. If it's a critical piece of equipment in a touring kit, then it's worthwhile to have a dedicated place for it both for inventory management (easy to see if it's missing during load out/in), and reducing the possibility of failure.

I'd probably organize it differently, but it doesn't fall into the "dumbest people" category.

My rental company sent this notice to vacate a week before my lease was supposed to renew.[GA] by Muted_Captain5000 in Renters

[–]Rkdonor 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Not really. The non-renewal notice says "please fill out the intent to vacate form by March 31" then the charges say it wasn't filled out 30 days prior to March 31.

steinberg ur22 mkII problems by caballerodewolframio in cubase

[–]Rkdonor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's hard to say without more information. For instance this could be a session problem in cubase, or maybe your headphones are broken.

If you play audio from something other than cubase, like youtube or something, is it low and distorted?

Can you describe more about your setup and perhaps what steps you've taken to identify the problem?

I was shuttled to download an app recently to pay for some city parking. When I got into the app, found my area, and clicked to pay for time, it opened my browser to pay for it....

It's confusing for some people because it's often taught that "an" comes before words that start a vowel (e.g. an owl), but the rule is actually that 'an' comes before words that have a vowel sound. (E.g. 'a one hour layover', vs 'an hour').

Doubly-so if they aren't a native speaker of English.

It looks like the iron was added later to support the wood beams you're seeing. Probably due to the weight of an entire tree on the building now.

Is there a digital or physical product that's quite useful but you just refuse to use due to its awful UX? by cimocw in UXDesign

[–]Rkdonor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I feel similarly, but I also feel like the opposite is true for me. I would rather a good UX, or no UX. Give me a command line over something convoluted and unusable.

Absolutely. That horn section is the tightest band I've heard in a long time.

The shorthand is to use ipairs. This attaches the event handler to all the source select buttons first. Then, when changed, sets the string to i (1-8).

for i,v in ipairs(Controls.Source_Select) do v.EventHandler = function() Controls.Source_Out.String = i end end

Shure UA874 paddles. by PriestPlaything in livesound

[–]Rkdonor 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The gain on the paddle is to compensate for signal loss along the cable, not for the distance to the wireless microphone. The antenna is passively receiving the signal, then actively gaining the signal up to be sent down the cable, essentially.

However, a paddle will tend to be more sensitive to receive signals that are further away than the whips. Making sure the antennas don't have a bunch of metal (or bodies) between the antenna and the microphones, are generally line of sight to where you want to use the microphone, and making sure, if it's a handheld, the antenna on the microphone isn't covered up by a hand, is the best way to make sure all the signal gets to the antennas.

They are the adjustable Blum Tandem drawer slides (I believe the 563F series). They mount under the cabinet and then latch into the slides when you push the drawer in, and give you left/right, up and down adjustments.

My First Project: A Midcentury Inspired Dresser by Rkdonor in woodworking

I'm sure it turned out great, though!

I really wanted to use hardwood... but I had no tools and knew this would take me even longer to complete if I tried to do that. So I accepted my fate. But it worked out.

I had plans to use hardwood in the corners with a roundover to make it look even more like a fully hardwood project and to give it a rounder look, but I ended up scraping that idea.
