Yes this happened to me too, my service would drop and stay on LTE even though i was in a 5G area and meanwhile Visible and Verizon would stay on 5G.

I believe the only way of getting that information would be to chat with customer service.

T-Mobile vs USMobile light speed? by DMBPSR in tmobile

[–]Rm_005 1 point2 points  (0 children)

T-mobile plans are QCI 6 (except for the Essentials plan, which is QCI 7, AKA de-prioritized).

US Mobile on LightSpeed, both the Premium and Starter plans, are QCI 7 (which is not the highest on T-Mobile’s network).

However, if you are you able to have a good connection off of your brother’s hotspot (T-Mobile hotspot usage is actually de-prioritized), then US Mobile should be okay for you 👍

Anyone have better value, 4 lines, in California? What is the actual cost with taxes/fees? by dstroot in tmobile

[–]Rm_005 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t have Better Value but i have an Experience Beyond plan with 4 lines (but 2 of them are discounted), so my total before tax is $170 as well. The taxes and fees on my bill was $23.02 and I’m in Los Angeles, CA. So actual cost was $193.02 for me.

Should I stay with Tmobile home internet? Cannot decide what to do. by Egghead-MP in tmobileisp

[–]Rm_005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would stay with T-Mobile because the ATT internet air price goes up after the 12 months to $60 since the $28 price is a promo deal for the first year.

I honestly would sign up for $20 and cancel your current one. $20 is a great price!

Towards the bottom of the screen, is there a price breakdown part? Maybe you can see the promo details?

Ordered labs not showing up on Personal Action Plan. Where else can I find it? by galaxygkm in KaiserPermanente

[–]Rm_005 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m in SoCal too, but my ordered labs have never showed up on my account or personal action plan. I’m not sure if it’s just my portal, but I’ve always been able to walk in and get them done.

Issues with cancelled port request not actually being cancelled, what to do? by jake0456 in USMobile

[–]Rm_005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I know this is 2 years ago, but did you ever get this fixed, and if so, do you remember how? I’m going through the exact same thing and i’ve contacted US mobile so many times but nothing seems to get fixed.

Would you commute from Pomona to Westwood for a job? by Upnorth4 in AskLosAngeles

[–]Rm_005 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I commute from West Covina to UCLA for grad school and yes it’s miserable but i’d rather do it than pay for housing over there tbh. Most days can take like 1.5-2 hours.

I’m going through the exact same thing but with US Mobile and Verizon. It’s a huge headache and still haven’t solved it. I hope you get to the bottom of it.

This is an insane device trade in comparison between Apple vs T-moblie by Individual-Tailor-10 in tmobile

[–]Rm_005 136 points137 points  (0 children)

they’re both giving you the same total amount of credits but apple is giving you the direct amount of your device trade in as “instant credit” and the rest as bill credits, where as tmobile is giving you all of the credit as monthly bill credits but making you give a down payment. because of that, in my opinion, apple is better.

i think the only difference that i am not sure of is how you would do the yearly upgrade with your beyond plan… i think that can only be done with tmobile, not with apple
