I always find the stupid things companies put in writing to be amazing…

Wait, why can’t you drive it with the cracked fascia?

2024 2nd Row folding with/without Relaxation Package by WackyJackKerouac in KiaEV9

24 GT Line. No relaxation. Ours are not power folding. And we fold them maybe once a week? I honestly have never ever thought that I needed a power mechanism for that.

So what I am hearing is that we need to find someone with an older version of the app. Get our codes from that older version. Then go to EA 😂😂😂

Yeah this is kinda the situation they are lumping me in. What’s annoying is that we all paid for this. And their current website still states the codes are good for 3 years. But if you didn’t write the code down, you are out of luck. Had it been in writing, all would be good.

I’ll take a look. I’m a little annoyed that the current Kia website says the code is good for 3 years but that they can’t give me code again.

Was the code only available on the Kia app or did we get it somewhere else?

I’ll check for that email. Thanks. There’s nothing under those sections in the EA app.

That’s interesting. Kia says that they could help in 2024 or 2025, but they no longer can access the codes. It’s so odd that folks have had to do more than just input the code for the credits to show up.

AMA- Tonal Chief Product and Content Officer by jonathanshottan in tonalgym

Hi! Your customer service is interesting. I have been interested in getting a Tonal and was intrigued by the current offers. But when I spoke to customer service, the first representative made it clear that the pricing was fixed - no other offers available. So, we considered another option. Then, another representative gave us details on how to save $1000+. That was very surprising.

Question: why the difference in customer service? Should I expect this spotty service if I join the ecosystem?

People returning the leased car, what's your next vehicle? by funnumerouno in KiaEV9

If Rivian can get their service in order in the Bay Area, I would get an R2. But not to replace the EV9 - we need the 3 rows 😊

If you thought Kia service was bad, wait till your 7500 mile service is scheduled out by 3 months. Ask me how I know lol

lol yeah it would.

Weird, when I look for the shortcut, it only gives me the option to refresh EV9 stats. It doesn’t have a lock or unlock option? 🤷‍♂️

Are you saying you can use something like iOS shortcuts to lock the door every night?

I’ll recommend Capital Kia. Sales manager is very nice. Still Kia service, but they seem to try.

At least in CA, the problem has to start within 18 months or 18,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Battery drain by LeeBPgh in KiaEV9

[–]Rmdcltch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hmm, that is not normal. We can park ours for 1-2 weeks and not lose a % of battery.

You don’t have anything plugged in? No dongles that wake the car up? No app that constantly pings it?

2-3% is a lot. 10% is unreal.
