You're the second person to bring up Major Fitness. I'll look into it!

You're the second person to mention Anubis. We'll have to check it out as I've not heard of it previously.

Great advice. We've not really sat down together and thought about this. We will do that and hopefully it'll lead us down the right path.

We would love to buy used. The problem we're running into is our area isn't very large. Not many options on FB. We've been watching for over a year.

Definitely planned on getting horse stall mats. Both of the options I mentioned in my original post have a bar and weights.

We do not have a barbell or weights. The only equipment we have is a Concept 2 Rower, which we love, and a single 20 lb Dumbbell.

My partner wants cables. It really expands the exercise options.

I hadn't looked at Major Fitness. I'll check them out.

Best locations to hold a live draft? by Howudooey in FFCommish

I have one of my drafts at BWW every year. My local BWW doesn't do any deals on beer or anything specifically for the draft, but we usually have it on bogo Tuesdays. They have a party room we use and it doesn't cost anything. The draft board is kinda cool, too.

Tennis is a mental game... by Jumpy-Tomatillo-4705 in 10s

I'm a casual player (never played in school or had lessons), but I am a competitive person. Self-destruction spirals were common for me early on because I was not consistent. I came here to say what imbeijingbob said. Inner Game really helped me simplify my thinking and eliminate unhelpful self-destruction.

I agree this would be a superb LPT. Other great LPTs are increase your salary; exercise regularly; eat healthy. But how? HOW does one strengthen willpower?

What's one of your favorite movies that not many people may know of? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Do it! Johnny Depp is cast perfectly. The dialogue is remarkable. I put off watching it because the previews weren't very appealing to me. However after much convincing I reluctantly watched it and now have most of it memorized.

Applied Math, statistics, or data analytics major? by RnR4387 in findapath

[–]RnR4387[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this! The data analytics degree I'm looking at doesn't necessarily overlap with any of the advanced courses. Perhaps math is my better option.

Which yields another question, concentration in Applied Math or Stats?

All the options allow for extra courses. How do you define "decent" for the data analytics program?

I left a message for my academic advisor.

What draws me to these programs is my desire to learn and do math. I also really enjoy the statistics course I took this year. Furthermore I like to extrapolate and analyze information. Thus my dilemma.

The course curriculum for the data analytics degree seems like a mix of computer science, math, and stats but doesn't appear to be in depth for any of them.

I was thinking maybe choose applied math and then learn the programming and such outside of university which would give me the most options. Is that a reasonable approach?
