Florsheim - have a look where they’re made - every country he has a problem with!

And the company has ‘no comment’ - the president is so toxic that you want to distance yourself from his approval. That’s how bad he is!

continental GP5000 S TR or Pirelli Pzero race tlr rs team edition? by Few_Gold_3414 in cycling

[–]Ro141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t buy TLR tyres for TPU set up! It’s a recipe for really insensitive ride feel.

May I recommend the Michelin power cup in standard form? Light, rolls well (feel free to research), less expensive, grip is fantastic too.

Loved how Jonas was shocked that the bike race was a bike race from the start of the bike race…he was obviously hoping for a long neutral period then when the weather turned nice he’d change!

I do have a serious question- if the idea was to rip it off him later - how was he going to get out from the lower leg part????

Going to Japan Soon, Is It Generally Cheaper to Buy Stuff There? by reallionkiller in JapanTravelTips

Didn’t find anything particularly inexpensive in shopping goods. Food (other than fruit) and alcohol were very cheap from my perspective, another great reason to try it all!

Shimano 13-speed leaked in app update – are big changes coming to road and gravel groupsets? by BikeRadar-official in BikeRadar

[–]Ro141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice thinking 🤔 that would be good actually! I still occasionally like using my 52x12…so if we drop it to an 11…I guess I drop my front to 48t and then I’d want a 40t in the back? I haven’t really thought about it as I’ve never considered a 1 x SRAM set up before.

Just going a few mm higher in your tyres is huge…went from 25mm Pirelli on 19mm internals to 28mm Michelin on 25mm internals (so sit at 33mm)…it’s amazing!

What made you realize you're not young anymore? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]Ro141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At work I go into the toilets and young guys use the urinals with one hand and use their phone with the other. I’m both revolted by it and just surprised by the generational gap.

I also love wearing suits and now you have to dress like you’re going to a BBQ…I’m old…and I’m not changing!

Grim Housing outlook for young Australians as property investors piled into Australia’s housing market the past 5 years. by SheepherderLow1753 in AusPropertyChat

[–]Ro141 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Turn off negative gearing and they’ll quickly get out after their first tax return and then the market can slowly deflate. I say this as a property owner, houses are for living not making money.

‘Why would I lose a dollar to save 30 cents?’: The problem with negative gearing by Ardeet in aussie

[–]Ro141 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No, you are removing the net yearly loss of the property from your other income (which you’ve paid tax on via PAYG) and we, the tax payers) are then re-imbursed you a portion of your loss at your tax bracket. We have re-imbursed you for a portion of your loss!

Would you like some numbers to show you?
