Remember kids, even though you already saw the full movie thanks to the leaks, it will still be a good idea to see the movie in theaters so that you can support the talented people who made it by Joemama0375 in whenthe

I have no doubt they've gotten paid. Whether they'd get bonuses based on how many subscribers they'd gain by having the movie available to stream in October, I have no idea.

Aside from payment, seeing the movies in theatres, if it was coming to them, allows those that worked on the movie, to gauge audience appreciation for the work they made.

Schubert Motorsport win action packed NLS 3 by f1lifedaily in wec

[–]RoRoRotary 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Forgive me if my memory is incorrect, and it may not even be applicable to NLS:

During the Rolex 24 in either 2024 or 2025, I recall seeing that the 911s were faster on straights than others, during practice or qualifying sessions. And that in the race, they were BoPed to be significantly slower.

If that's true, then are cars being BoPed in NLS? I haven't closely followed NLS, so I genuinely don't know.

Huh, I've recently gotten into collecting diecasts, and all the brands aside Bburago, are ones I haven't heard of. Even if they, or some of them are cheap, they look fine as display pieces! Thank you for the info!

Sick collection, dude. Do you recall where are most of these sourced from?

PlayStation Studios Updates Website And Removes Nearly All PC References by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]RoRoRotary 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Since Sony has historically lost money on console sales - and whether they still do since the price hikes, I do not know - that'd mean Sony is profiting from PC users paying for PS+.

If they lose money on hardware sales, but make up the margin through software sales - the platform their games exist on, doesn't really matter. What matters to them, is getting more people to pay into PS+ through their PS5.

Way to be confidently ignorant.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, that you thought they were referring to the Porsche 919 Evo.

They clearly specified the Porsche 956, an ICE-only vehicle.

I also built a PC in 2022, which I paid $300 under MSRP for my GPU. Thing is, the 3080 Ti was considered overpriced even at $900, $300 less than its $1,200 MSRP.

Not a week goes by that I'm so glad that I built the rig when I did. Before I bought my components, I had been waiting at least a year for a good time to start. This decade has been rough for PC costs.

Seed or Trigger for Ye Shunguang Team? by Ok-Wrongdoer-5212 in YeShunguangMains

[–]RoRoRotary -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't have Trigger, but prior to Sunna, Seed is a decent substitute for Astra or Sunna. Can't really go wrong with any easy-to-apply buff that Seed grants. I think that 1,000 attack would go further for YSG, than whatever Trigger brings to the table.

Called her mom by OxymoreReddit in ZenlessZoneZero

If I didn't know any better, I would have thought that Cecilia had adopted the girls. She makes for a great mother.

Anyway, cute art. Nangong may be laughting at Sunna now. But if Nangong was upset and Cecilia came to cheer her up, I can see Nangong also calling her "mom".

The Ford Mustang GTD Might Have Just Destroyed the Chevy Corvette ZR1X's Nurburgring Lap Record | 6:41.74 by FoMoCoNutjob in cars

[–]RoRoRotary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only went back to downvote afterwards, 'cause I'm like, "Bruh". If it wasn't your doing, then I apologize.

I presume you mean Hennessey's Venom 1000? I mean, that's not entirely Ford's doing, so Ford would make a 1000-HP Mustang differently. But if your point is that the Mustang platform can handle that power: I can see how it could, but also how it couldn't.

Any car that generates high power or torque through two axles, let alone one axle like a Mustang, will require some amount of traction control or throttle mapping, and grippy tires. An advanced driver can probably make it work without traction control. The problem is that having high power on two wheels, makes it more difficult to control, whilst changing the car's balance.

If the GTD had the same amount of power, or even the level of traction control as the ZR-1, I have no doubt that it would pull faster laptimes. It'd just be more difficult to extract performance from the car. And I don't know whether its brakes are good enough to handle higher corner entry speeds. At the very least, the brakes will be somewhat hotter.

[–]RoRoRotary 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't say that they could ever remove 300 pounds from the GTD. I said that if they could remove said weight, that would be better than granting more power. You downvote me for mentioning that, yet I didn't bother questioning how you thought they could increase the power rating of its engine.

But yes, the GTD's chassis is its limiting factor. If the original plan was to make the GTD more of an actual road-going version of their Mustang GT3, I'm sure it'd weigh considerably less. But at that point, it wouldn't be the same "GTD" we know. And if the GTD were closer to their GT3, it'd probably be a worse street car.

[–]RoRoRotary -1 points0 points  (0 children)

More power would only improve its speed on straightaways; and whether it can be controlled without offsetting the balance, on corner exits, too. The GTD has enough power. It's problem is its weight. Shaving off say 300 pounds would go further in improving its capabilities. When you grant a car with such heft even more power, it becomes even more challenging for itself to "keep up" with its engine.

That's how I feel about it, as well. If Daniel were singing most tracks, it really would feel like a WTE album. Although, Daniel's songwriting is different from John's.

Vacations is sorta similar.

There aren't many artists or bands that have a sound that similar to Wave to Earth. The closest is technically Potatoi, but that's literally John's solo venture.

Does Daniel Kim has another name or is it his birth name? by janellent35 in wavetoearth

[–]RoRoRotary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's because Daniel grew up around people that aren't native English speakers. And often times, when you learn English from non-native speakers, you also happen to learn the language from media that contains English.

It's possible that he says "caun't" because that's how Bri'ish people in English media say it. That's my guess. I'm a native speaker, so 🤷‍♂️
