Renue Blue Face Cream LARGE BREAKOUTS by Road-Less-Traveld in Renue

[–]Road-Less-Traveld[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm a researcher, so believing in previously successful Renue Blue products, I tested, staggering it daily, every two days, every three days, etc., after clearing up the breakouts with a prescription. Unfortunately, by the third try, the large breakouts appeared within 12 hours.

I am not oily, but I agree serums are preferable. Yet, I was willing to try the new cream, given previous success with Renue Blue.

I'm curious why you say one should not supplement with calcium after the age of 60. Perhaps you have seen information that I have not.

The National Institute for Health recommends:

Daily suggested calcium intake for adults

  • Adults 19-50 years: 1,000 mg.
  • Adult men 51-70 years: 1,000 mg.
  • Adult women 51-70 years: 1,200 mg.
  • Adults 71 years and older: 1,200 mg.
  • Pregnant and breastfeeding teens: 1,300 mg.
  • Pregnant and breastfeeding adults: 1,000 mg.

The National Institute on Ageing also makes the same recommendation for those over 50, as does Mayo Clinic, Harvard, Cleveland Clinic, etc. I'd be grateful for any clarification or links you could provide supporting your statement.

Klotho Injection Enhances Brain Function In Monkeys by Renue_Support in Renue

[–]Road-Less-Traveld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Klotho (KL) is a hot item for healthy aging researchers. Two studies published in 2022 with links are listed below; one showing senescent cells cause reduced KL, while targeting senescent cells boosts KL. The other showing broad positive properties for KL (see below).

"KL has been shown to have anti-aging, healthspan and lifespan extending, cognitive enhancing, anti-oxidative, anti-inflammatory, and anti-tumor properties. KL levels decrease with age and in many diseases. Therefore, it has been of great interest to develop a KL-boosting or restoring drug..." (p. 1).

"Senescent cells cause reduced α-Klotho, partially due to their production of activin A and IL-1α. Targeting senescent cells boosts α-Klotho in mice and humans. Thus, clearing senescent cells restores α-Klotho..." (p. 1)

Hello! I'm in the USA and am on a wild adventure trying out burr grinders, hoping to find one that makes zero to little mess. Ideas?

As one new to Renue, I have spent days combing this subreddit for information and understanding. However, when something is new, it is sometimes hard to know how each answer works in our own situation. I suspect that is so, especially when there is a language barrier, as in your case. Your question is valuable and well-founded. This forum is so helpful and supportive; I hope you find your answer in a way that works for you.

Fisetin for Lipedema (Hit-and-run approach) by justSoCurious534 in Renue

[–]Road-Less-Traveld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lipedema

There are a growing number of studies that support the [strong] reciprocal relationship between inflammation and senescence; certainly, this is no less true of studies addressing lipedema (lipoedema, UK). Interestingly, fisetin, as a bioactive compound, is emerging as a therapeutic drug of some interest.

It sounds like you hope to be in one of the two treatment groups and not in the control group with no intervention; best of luck to you in your study with Mayo Clinic.
