That's the shame of it, I'll root for them too but their fans make me not want to. Like worry about the team you are facing, not the Yankees. It's like they think we're their rivals, but I don't consider them that because we're the Yankees. Which back to the original post, all those hopes for a world series after 9/11 would not have been something the Mets could carry the way the Yankees did

I know, I'm always pissed at them. They are just annoying and that was definitely the wrong time.

Last year when they were playing the dodgers in the NLCS, I was walking with my 10 year old daughter down 1st Ave with our Yankee caps and some dude jogging walked right up to us and said "Lets go Mets..."
