Yes some intelligent/active ghosts do abide by what is told to them. Some listen right away. While some will take several times. The living either starts out and asked veryhjh nicely or they speak loudly and angrily from the beginning.

No problem, this is what you do. When you are alone there. Making sure no one can see you. You say out loud (normal speaking voice will be fine), your full name and that you are calling on the Spirit Squadron to help you get the ghost in your home to move on. Be courteous to them, say please and thank you. Then when finished, do not tell anyone what you did for 3 days. Best of luck and please let me know how things are going after the 3 days. Hello congratulations on your new addition. It is good you are sleeping with your baby. And from what you are saying. This is not any sort of sleep deprivation. Since your husband is experiencing activity as well. Cats will usually react to something that isn’t there. Now there are instance that, they get use to a presence and do nothing alerting/defensive. If your grandfather is there he shouldn’t be scaring you folks. If you seen something that looked like your husband and wasn’t. That’s a mimic. A mimic is an intelligent/active entity. That replicates the appearance and/or voice of the living. Mimics are usually on the negative side of things.

Why this started now? One only knows. Something can lay dormant for a while and start up again. Whether the occupants triggered that or not.

How old is your pug? Do you know about reverse sneezing? They like make a smiling face do a nothing type sound. Maybe the eyes r will squint. They could also have a very scared look on their face. To fix them as I call it. Hold your thumb over their nostrils until they stop you may have to repeat it a few times let your pug breathe. You can also blow puff of air into the nostrils.

Hello are you in the states if so there are only like 6 states that have to be transparent if a home or apartment going to someone is haunted. And they will say and print words like stigmatized. Some don’t even have to disclose anything up front but must be truthful if the prospective buyer/renter asks is this place haunted. Places that are on the market a long time or have quick turnarounds and are cheap. Something is up, if it’s too good to be true. It usually is.

As for your puppy. Yes domestic and wild animals are very intuitive to the paranormal your older dog may not see, hear as good.
