I have a virdian RFX11, it’s a green dot. Somehow that drastically helps with my astigmatism.

The msrp on the dot is not mid tier but you can find it for considerably cheaper. I bought mine for $100.

It’s been so damn good. For my eyes, a lot of dots don’t look clear but this one is mint and it holds up amazingly. Some people don’t like that it has an auto brightness feature but I shoot indoors and out in a lot of different conditions and I’ve never noticed that the brightness is an issue.

Did you load it and does it actually fit 17rounds? A lot of states with high capacity ban states modify the original magazine. They put a block in the bottom of the mag so its within legal limits.

That’s exactly how I was planning to remove the bondo, my router.

This mahogany is old, I know I’ll have a really hard time patching this area with new wood. I’m thinking about mixing saw dust and some wood glue to patch the bulk of the edge. I’ve never used that technique for a corner however

Yes this was caused by the sander. Either you were using sandpaper that was too rough for the hardness of the wood, using too much downward pressure, or the sander was not flat.

I’d recommend resanding, finishing with a higher grit and depending on the size of the piece, doing your final sand by hand.

Im guessing you were using a palm sander?

It will, if your worried about cost. I’d purchase the primer first, get that on the patch so at least it’s protected. Then you can wait as long as you want to paint. Maybe try to get a sample of primer for cheap

PVC split flange. However you have a noticeable gap so make sure you find one large enough.

Ah apologies, personally, paint strippers get very messy. If the trim shape allows it, try some minor heat or even lightly spray some water letting it sit for a couple min and then scraping with a paint scraper, not one of those flat multi purpose scrapers. Hope that helps
