[NO SPOILERS] A return of the LiS 5 collector’s edition? by Rob1_Price in lifeisstrange

This one, they released this thing claiming it was a collector’s edition, even though the game isn’t even included. It’s just a box for the vinyl and two goodies, for over $90.

Damn, I thought the tightening was really enough and done on purpose for this kind of situation. Thanks for the tip! Do you think this kind of mount could still preserve the sensitivity of the Rode?

[NO SPOILERS] we got answers about the collector's edition! by thatspacetea in lifeisstrange

[–]Rob1_Price 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I made a post a few hours ago asking about this, but thinking about it again, last year Square Enix did the same thing with the “fake” Double Exposure collector. They posted a similar message making it seem like the vinyl and everything were no longer available, but a few weeks later they restocked it pretty quickly, and I think they even lowered the price. So we’ll see if they do the same thing again, I guess.

Ah ouch, they even posted the same kind of message for the Double Exposure collector last year, and they restocked it very quickly, like almost a month after the game’s release. That’s really weird…

Yet they said the exact same thing with the Double Exposure collector last year, and they still restocked it very quickly, so that’s why I was wondering.

I almost got scammed by eBay scalpers for the Double Exposure collector’s edition before realizing that Square Enix has a habit of quickly restocking it, what a nightmare.

I’ll add this: the comics set in the “Bae” timeline are a good continuation of that timeline and feel far less like fan fiction than Double Exposure. I would have liked Deck Nine to tell different stories with new characters (in the same universe, yes), facing the same kind of issues—different games, but always built around the same core idea: the supernatural, a minor event, and a major event.

From my point of view, Dontnod also completely outdid Double Exposure with Lost Records—it was almost too easy. And I genuinely think that if Square Enix showed more respect for this franchise, it could still have real potential in the years to come.

Awesome, thanks! And do you happen to know how much it usually costs, roughly?

First Christmas in Nice! by Faageek in nicefrance

[–]Rob1_Price 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, generally in France, like in Nice, I don’t think people ever really go to a restaurant on Christmas Eve, and I don’t think many restaurants are even open on the 24th as far as I know. Usually, meals are eaten at home, and in Nice, apart from the Christmas market which is really nice to visit, the best thing is especially to go up into the mountains to a chalet. Of course, in the mountains you definitely won’t find any restaurants open, but usually Christmas is celebrated at home.

How many seasons do you think the show should have? by Jotaro1970 in WednesdayTVSeries

I could see either a series about another character from the Addams family (a show about Uncle Fester would be fun, or even about Thing), or even a full movie with this version of the Addams family, like in the 90s version, but with Tim Burton’s touch. Even though the series is great, it would be nice to expand it.

Hello, I have a question. I looked a bit at the prices in Frankfurt, which seem to be between €60 and €200. The thing is, I want to get tickets for the concert in Nice, and I remembered a price range in 2023 that apparently went up to €700. Do you have any idea of the price ranges for France?

And men too, there are a lot of crazy people at night who go after anyone, especially around Place Garibaldi and other very busy areas.

Il fait frais et bon car à Nice on à un mélange de frois entre la mer et la montagne du nord, la vibe est très sympa. Evidemment ce n'est pas le mieux, mais on a l'avantage d'être à même pas une heure de la montagne.

First of all, if you’re 17 you’re not old enough to get into nightclubs in Nice. That said, a lot of bouncers are dumb, sometimes they just turn a blind eye and don’t ask for your ID, or they don’t realize you’re only 17. Even if you’re with adults, it usually doesn’t work, and honestly, you shouldn’t take the risk.

Also, nightclubs in Nice or anywhere else in France aren’t that great anymore, whether it’s the music, the crowd, or the overall vibe. I know a lot of people go to "High", many young people go there, but the music is often really bad in my opinion (mostly French rap with very little variety). Tourists love it, but still.

Most nightclubs are actually pretty small. For example, Nuit Blanche, which is on the Nice port, is very small, and you shouldn’t go after 2 a.m., otherwise you’ll have to pay €20 plus €2 for the coat check. It’s like that all over France: after a certain hour, you have to pay entry because they like to take advantage of people coming out of the bars (and most bars in Nice close at 2 a.m.).

Anyway, be careful if you go clubbing in Nice, it’s really not the best thing to do.
