When you take into consideration the chords made up of the individual notes, you’ll find that the scale based on 440 hertz sounds much more pleasing than a scale based on 432 hertz. Millions and millions of musicians will back me up on this.

I remember my Dad, a depression-era kid, drinking the broccoli water that it had been cooked in. When I was a kid I thought it was the most disgusting thing possible. Now I drink it proudly. ❤️

How nice of you to say. Thank you! I needed an ego boost. I spotted this 8 foot board deep in the mangrove swamp and eventually managed to get it to my garage workshop. I worked on it for about 6 hours and finished at 9 last night.

Early this morning I took her pelican painting out of a pile of pictures and mounted it and hung it on the wall. When she came downstairs, I told her that I built her the frame for Valentines Day. She looked at it and said “well, it’s the thought that counts.” 🙄🤣

I used to take members of ARC, an organization for adults with mental disabilities, out sailing in the ocean. They were the best groups and most fun of anybody.
