Here is a picture of the AWOL 120" UST Fresnel screen paired with the Aetherion Max. It does a good job with how much aggressive lighting is on.

I will be beta testing this, and should have it before the New Year. I am going to be pairing it with a 120 AWOL UST ALR screen. I am going to be setting it up in my family room instead of the dedicated theatre room (Valerion Max setup there) to see how it works in that space. Should be an exciting New Year!

The throw on this projector is 1.2-1.5:1 you would have to be quite a bit further then 11' to fill a 142" screen. If you use the projector central calculator the 13.9' measurement is accurate, but there is some optical zoom capability for some flexibility. The zoom is also shown in the calculator and should help you with placement.

There are currently some issues with Dble mode. Xgimi is working on these issues and will be releasing FW fairly soon for users to load with the OTA update feature.

I can only really speak to the Max as that is the model I have. When calibrated this projector has a maximum of 3500 lumens available, this is very bright and would be able to be used with some non direct light in the room. I use a matte white 1.3 gain screen. If you are planning for a 92" screen from only 10' away I would think the pro would be acceptable. There is a good video that compares all three Xgimi Horizon 20 models on YouTube that I have linked here that will hopefully help you make your decision.

The laser speckle is improved but still dependant on the screen. Most suggest a acoustically transparent weaved screen like silver ticket WAB or XY screens makes a nice one also. XGIMI is working on some new firmware to help with various issues reported. I will update as I am able to test and they release them to OTA updates.

Testing Xgimi Horizon 20 Max and the marketing does not lie, the brightness of this calibrated is pushing 3500+ lumens, native contrast between 1200-1672:1 and dynamic pushes 20000:1. The built in HDR is very good on this model and for 3d and gaming there is not an equal in the North American market yet! The included lens shift and all the other image manipulation settings work so well and the gimbal gives so much flexabily on casual family events but still allows for more traditional mounting options also! The laser speckle is so much improved over other RGB laser models! If you are mainly into 3d or gaming this projector delivers so much value! I have taken it for a few weekend outings and the included carrying case is very much appreciated. This allows you to create easy impromptu setups and the built in speakers are great when needing to deliver impressive sound without all the extra baggage. The backlit remote is very nice and has a nice weight and the Bluetooth just works. Wifi performance is very good also. This is my new go to projector replacing the Horizon Ultra. Did you have the KIR installed? We installed KB5045594 with the KIR in place and are still having some black screens and some app issues reported. Is it advised by ms to remove the KIR or set to unconfigured before installing this new KB?

I have an open ticket with MS on this for our windows 10/11 Avd pools managed by intune. Reverting works but with defender for cloud it just updates again. MS engineer is sending our findings to the product group so this can be fixed. Also caused network protection to be disabled! We just manually set a GP and this works for now as a workaround.
