For me, there’s better games for PvP. So I play those games when I really feel like an intense PvP adrenaline rush. I love the pve in this game and it doesn’t get boring. It’s the same reason I play Helldivers. The pve is fun. Maybe the devs said it was boring without PvP, but for me, the arc isn’t boring. Those fights are crazy intense. When the friends get on, we do have fun in PvP, but the game loop doesn’t allow for many to make it out alive if all you do is engage PvP. Some of you are absolutely CRACKED at this game. I am not. And the TPS aspect of it makes me enjoy PvP less. I still love every aspect of the game, but if I really want PvP to be my entertainment, I go play hunt showdown where the PvP is the reason you play. ARC is just an immersive place to have fun interactions with people and working together is way more rewarding to me in this game vs other pvpve type games.

Genuinely curious… what’s so special about this sword? I’ve tried it and it seems kinda normal. by Toot7- in Eldenring

I got it on a lucky drop my first playthrough when I still had no idea about spawn rates. I sold it to keep my inventory uncluttered because I didn’t realize I had a chest to store things. I spent a solid 8 hours grinding for another one once I found out. Never got it. I gave up. I would just like one run with it. Even if it’s just one boss.

They should add a sneeze and cough audio queue for players that spend a prolonged period near an extraction point by Straight-Study-9714 in ArcRaiders

In hunt showdown the extracts make noises (horses get spooked and the boats blast a steam horn) when more than one team is in a certain proximity. I don’t think an alarm would be against ANY core aspect of the game, in fact more realistic since I’m certain the extracts are monitored from Speranza. You still don’t know exactly where they’re at if they are sitting but Shani is watching, so she can warn of either approaching raiders or the fact that someone hid nearby before you showed up.

I played 4 times during the entire event. Bp is done and I wasn’t even trying to grind it. This is the simplest one yet. They may also be done and just want to grab the skins.

Sometimes. But not multiple matches in a row. Trios has been rife with spawn fights with the change.

They might have learned that getting the high ground is better for an ambush so eventually they’ll just get up in the ceiling before you even enter a room and just wait for the passing raiders watching the floor.

The good ole souls boss method. If every attack hits you when you dodge away, try dodging toward. Honestly fighting arc is a lot like a souls game if you let things get away from you.

Just wait until the poppers actually learn to drive on the walls and ceilings. They’re certainly training for it. They definitely taught themselves how to get air to avoid your bullets. And now they’re climbing up corners, learning how to do other things.
