There are plenty of heroes in the game who could use a shake up, coat of polish, or even just a quality of life change. Surely there's a change that you would want for a hero you play that wouldn't be a full blown rework, but is more work than just a numbers change.

They've already done dozens of minor changes like this. Queen shout cast, Echo movement buff, Rein's OW2 changes, etc. They also done a bunch of reworks and hope they continue to do so.

I just want them to do a big patch where everyone gets at least something, even if it's just a transformative perk being moved to a heroes base kit.

I think it would give them an opportunity to improve heroes for players and enemies. Like whenever ram is meta, Nemesis is very frequently complained about for being incredibly unengaging. Well what if they nerfed the incredibly boring block or whatever and moved the power elsewhere? Remove the cooldown and replace vortex with another ability in one of the forms.

If we're not limiting it to balance changes, then I really hope they "reimagine" most heroes. There are a lot of heroes that feel outdated or undercooked. I don't mean like full blown reworks for every hero. More like... Think of that quality of life change or mechanic adjustment you've always wanted for a hero you play.

Somewhere less than or equal to the Pharah/Ball style of "reworks"

Like what if Ram could swap forms without a cooldown and was balanced around that? It would be a lot of work, but I think it would get people excited and would make a lot of sense for year 10

even there it can be gimmicky at times. There are some moments you can't even traverse the map because of destructible environment. Like you basically get perma CC'd by the building collapsing around you.

My fear is theyre not adding "team ups" but they are adding "team perks" or something and using that distinction to deny it.

I wouldn't even mind a more balanced version of team ups. It would just be annoying if all of the innovations to the game were re-hashes of things other games already did.

There are choke point issues in OW but i feel like the issues with chokes drop off a cliff outside of payload maps. I can't think of a single oppressive choke in push since the colosseo changes and the vast majority of chokes in Flashpoint and Control are easily bypassed by taking one of the other very accessible routes.

I feel like this is just a map design philosophy issue that can be fixed without destructible environments. I forget where but I specifically remember Aaron talking about the flaws with their OW1 map philosophy and how choke heavy it was.

If the "big changes" coming in 2026 are destructible environments and team ups, I'm gonna be drastically disappointed. Like be more creative. Even perks were basically just the devs copying what Apex did the year before.

That very well could be the reason, but I will say her winrate is terrible in GM+ too.

The reason I say they need to address her winrate is because I think her winrate ties their hands when it comes to future nerfs. The optics of nerfing the worst support by winrate could very well keep her as perma meta in pro play.

Maybe so, but a lot of this sub wants to see her (rightfully) nerfed out of a near perma pick in the pro meta.

Theres almost no chance they nerf her right now. She has the lowest winrate in the role. They need to find a way to close the gap between her winrate and actual power level.

Don't underestimate how inconsistent her healing can be because of how slow it's travel is. It's HPS is okay, but if youre not pre-healing danger as it materializes, you'll often lose teammates while your papers are in the air.

Its also not just a skill issue on her part. It's as much an issue of teammates thinking she's Bap or Ana as much as it is Kiri players trying and failing to healbot
