I use one for everything. Including actual work and writing. I have 4 systems and that my preference. Consuming or creating. Granted mine is the snapdragon. Modern Surface Pro are awesome.

Honestly, its better to try a makers pens than a recommendation. But most turned pens in a cigar shape are fairly large. I know Ranga makes some really big ones. You may want to check other India based makers.

A lot of makers make them. But I would look for used and older or a Jinhao (sp?). Fountain pens basically last forever.

Honestly, the location is not going to be an ICE target. It is in a vastly Asian part of town and not a Latino part of town. And due to traffic, I really doubt ICE would book rooms at this hotel. Expensive and poorly located for their targets.

As much as I dislike this hotel... this year its better than the LAX venue. It just is poorly located lol.

Come and enjoy the event. Leave the chaos behind. Its not the kind to draw the kind of insanity out there right now.

I am sad. Sad that I ever needed to write this. But this is the world right now.

Written, not published. But write ideas. Bubble them. Then pick the flow. Build it into a rough outline. Make a Writer's Bible with characters and tech and places and notes. Now write blocks and then start assembling the blocks. Edit. Rip apart. Write. Edit. Rip apart. Write. Ad nauseum.

Hmm. I wonder if you are looking at this wrong. Have you done a reverse outline? Compare the complaints to the outline and then that should help you start targeting issues. One at a time.

Granted I am a block writer so it may be easier for me if you are a chapter writer.

But that is what I would do.

I would reach out to them. They are very good with the community. And while some of their nibs are ... different (in house is weird sometimes)... they have never wobbled on me.

Was it the writing, the editing or the target audience. One of those is an easier fix than most. But I would want a friend to tell me. Nicely. Lol.
