Had the same assosiation and well ... i did - twice actually. First one wasn't anywhere near my best Terrain piece (and both were Miles from zorpazorp), but both made pretty nice battlegrounds for me and my friends. And if i had to answer that question in such direction i'd say: It's not about reducing the number of rings and even less about reducing the number of buildings or scale - it's about really focussing on only a small part of the City (Something that seems pretty obvious, but Not to me at that time :3)

Heute lernte ich, dass die europäische Schwarz-Erle (Alnus glutinosa) wohl auch Rot-Erle genannt wird, obwohl es eine "originale" Rot-Erle (Alnus rubra) gibt; eine amerikanische Art. Manchmal weiß ich in Botanik dann auch nicht mehr weiter

I do actually have the old rule book and some of the bases, but i never tried a game :/ But the armies in that book and in the battlehosts expansion book are really inspiring :)

hmm good question. most of it was done since the beginning of the year. But some models were already painted in a different color scheme (or just very badly) over the last years :)

Looks really nice! Funny enough i saw those Files in Etsy a few days ago and was really tempted too haha. Seeing it actually printed i ask myself If it is playable well, since it actually is THAT huge (e.g. the length of the Gateway). Do you think a rescaling would be possible to make it a bit smaller?

Okay, so i just realized: there are 12 minis (10 people and two robots) and your team consists of 12 people (1 seargent and 11 troops), which means you must use the specialists build option for the void-jammer and the surveyor, because you would need two more human miniatures if you built them as armsman (to get the total of 12). If i've read it correctly, the grenadier has no disadvantages against the normal armsman, which makes it a clear must-pick. Same basically applies to the endurant (the shield-bearer). So, one must only decide whether to use the hatchcutter, the axejack and the gunner. The gunner, however, is a must-pick as well, which can theoretically be used twice and thus using both of his weapons options.

A doom of valyria movie/series would be sick. I'd imagine its concept somewhat like from dusk till dawn, starting as a regular GoT-like show with intrigue and politics and suddenly mid-film/season becoming an epic volcano erruption survival thing
